From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The resort’s stunning waterfront location provided a serene backdrop for a day of relaxation.

The pool area was pristine, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed throughout the day. The cabanas were a luxurious touch, offering a private oasis to unwind and soak up the sun. The poolside bar served delicious cocktails and a variety of tasty snacks, making it easy to indulge and savor the day.

One of the highlights was the delicious dining options available on-site. I enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at one of the resort’s restaurants, and the food was exceptional. The blend of flavors and the quality of ingredients truly impressed me.

2. Hilton Tampa Downtown

“Customer service was spot on. You check in and are given a key pass. The pool is on the 5th floor. The hot tub was wonderful and HOT. The pool is smaller and the area is not very big, but makes for a more intimate experience. There is a bar open, but closed on Fridays which was perfect for us. It was quiet and tranquil. The view is beautiful. There is a gym that you have access to. The dining is wonderful. Great grabbing a bite at the grille! You also have access to complimentary water/soda and snacks in a beautiful air-conditioned area where you can relax. We even caught a movie on the TV inside this area to take a break from the hot sun. There are not many umbrellas and they go quickly, but the bar is covered. Not sure if there is music on the weekends. The valet was expensive, but it was $12 for the day in the garage adjacent to the hotel. The walk outside of the hotel is beautiful with shops and a few restaurants. I will book a room next time, as I was impressed. The hotel is very pretty.”

“Best staycation ever. Spent a whole day swimming with my wife along with sunbathing.

Arriving at the property we were greeted with kind valet associates who checked our vehicle in and directed us to where we needed to go.
Once we signed in all fun was a go. Plenty of seating options along the pool, a chill atmosphere, and friendly staff. We felt we were out on some wonderful resort that we traveled to.

Not forgetting the upkeep of the pool. Great temperature and cleanness of the property.”

“My girlfriend and I were in Tampa after a cruise and had 8 hours to kill until our flight back home.  Before leaving the ship, we asked the service desk on the cruise what they suggested and they had nothing to offer.  We wanted to find a pool since the weather was spectacular but had no idea how to gain access without booking a room at a hotel.  Finally, we called a Marriott and asked what it takes to use your facility and that’s when we found out about resortpass.com.  For a total of $55.00, we were able to rent a Cabana by the pool.  This place is insane!  The whirlpool is HUGE and there are tons of submerged lounge chairs in a section of the pool, two full-sized bars, top-notch food and appetizers, and great music blaring in the background.  The staff was extremely friendly too!!  I was looking for sun tan lotion and they let me use what they had behind the bar.   We are definitely planning on going back there later this winter.”

“I had a few hours before my train arrived. I booked Le Meridien and then was treated like royalty from the start. The breakfast was the best ever, the dining room decor was stunning. The pool was refreshing and the outdoor space was tranquil and serene. Towels were provided. I then drank hot tea and read in the lobby for a while. The staff members were kind and helpful. It was a luxurious few hours.”

“I loved The Fenway! The pool area was really nice and the pool was clean and cool. I wish there was a poolside bar, but going inside to order food or drinks was a good chance to get out of the sun for a few minutes. Half of the lounge chairs are in the shade by 2 pm, but there are plenty of sunny areas throughout the day. I spent $35 on a flatbread and two mimosas, which felt very reasonable. Also appreciated that they have ice water available for all guests.

It is valet parking only, so be prepared for that. There’s no charge for valet, but tipping is a nice gesture.

This environment is better for adults than children. There were no kids at the pool on the Sunday I visited, it was mostly singles and couples in the restaurant and checking in/out of the hotel, also.

I loved it here and absolutely will be back!”

Well equipped with an outside bar where you can also order the most inventive, mouthwatering appetizers and poolside-friendly entrees. The bartender will deliver your meals in handy pool-safe bento-like boxes where the lid converts to a serving tray or plate for your no-mess enjoyment.
Live DJ created a hip atmosphere with audible sounds to float with.

10. Epicurean Hotel – Tampa

“Had a wonderful experience at the Epicurean from start to finish! Parking with valet was speedy, check-in was very fast and we received a water and wristband at the front desk. When we arrived at the pool around 10:30 AM on a Saturday it was almost empty and we had our pick of chairs. Towels were provided. We were able to order drinks and food at the indoor bar and they were delivered to our seats. Later in the day, a cocktail waiter was walking around. By the time we left around 2:30 PM, most chairs were full, but there were still open seats. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially the bartender who took care of us. Overall we loved it, and felt the price was great for what we got.  Would love to come back!”

“This staff went  out of their way to make my daughter’s sweet 16 perfect from the valet parking young men who helped bring in bday party food to the friendly staff.  Everyone that I was just absolutely amazing couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my daughter, sweet 16. I booked the day room which was perfect: after laying and hanging out around the poolside, able to come upstairs shower, and get ready for the night. Only wish I could leave 10 stars: Booked the room during Memorial weekend the hotel wasn’t crazy packed like most places. I highly recommend them. We look forward to booking again soon”

“Unfortunately, I did not have much time to spend here for the day. Came over from Sarasota before catching my evening flight. The front desk agent recommended a local taxi service to the hotel which I highly recommend. A quick and pleasant ride to the airport. Relaxed by the pool and then headed down to the restaurant for an early dinner before catching flight. The food was good and the drinks were refreshing. The bartenders were so friendly and made specialty cocktails. Everyone at this hotel at a great attitude. Wonderful customer service. Wish I had more time to stay and explore downtown. I did not want to stay for hours at the airport. Less than $20.00 to relax before flight time. The trolly station was right out the front door of the hotel. Perfect for those who want to navigate around the city. I highly recommend.”

“Upon check-in at the front desk throughout the entire day, the staff were very friendly and helpful.  I had to show my ID at check-in and then the woman escorted us to our cabana.  There were 3 cabanas poolside.  They had comfy sofas and a table and provided shade from the sun.  We also had 2 lounge chairs (and side tables) right outside the cabana, which was in the sun.  It was a beautiful 80-degree day, but it had been chilly (50-60s) the prior days so the heated pool was lovely.  It was a perfect temperature.  We did not pre-order lunch but did go to the bar to order (opposite end of the pool from the cabanas).  The chicken quesadilla was excellent.  We also ordered the tater-tot pulled pork and substituted nacho chips for the tater-tots.  The pork itself was good, but we felt that overall the dish was missing sauce for the pulled pork.  The restrooms are right inside the hotel.  Parking was easy and right out front.  I would definitely recommend this hotel day pass.”

“I booked a one-day Resort Pass stay at this location. I used the gym to run and workout then showered and went to the pool. The gym was well equipped with many treadmills, a full set of weights, mirrors, a yoga room, a cable machine, and other equipment. The women’s locker room was clean and provided private showers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, fresh white towels, and lockers to use if needed. Then I went to the rooftop pool. The pool overlooked a channel with many boats and views of the bay. Although I didn’t use one, there were day beds and cabanas to rent if you wished to. The pool was clean and had two wooden planks inside the pool to sit/lay on which was fun. There was a full-service bar (I would recommend the Rum Rummer drink!) and if you wanted food, there was a grill station you could order from or simply see a pool attendant to order room service to your chair. The valet parking for the day came to $16 but you could park elsewhere in downtown Tampa. I highly recommend it!”
