The positives…food was great and pool was nice.  The negatives…cabanas were not great. Furniture was dirty. Not sure it was worth the money.

This hotel is disgusting, old and grimy. The pool and cabana “WTR” was a huge disappointment. The staff, with the exception of Jorge, are rude and couldn’t be bothered with anything. The furniture is falling apart and is dirty.  The bathrooms were gross and looked like they had not been cleaned in years.
Stay away from this place.

Visited from out of town the weekend on Feb Saturday 18.  Knowing it is the off-season and it wasn’t going to be busy we still rented a cabana to be safe, which turned out to be a waste. No crowd, horrible nonstop house music, birds and bird crap everywhere, bees everywhere and just overall very dirty and quite frankly boring. I understand it’s the off-season, but more effort could have been put into cleanliness and entertainment.

WTR seems overrated 

Staff was very friendly and the drinks and food were great! My only negative is that the furniture in The cabanas could use a good cleaning. But they really weren’t too bad. 

Perfect day on the bay

The pool was filthy. It was also freezing even though the posting said it was heated. We did have an amazing server, but the cold, gross pool kind of ruined it.

Pool disgusting

I rented a cabana for my friends Bachelorette party.  We arrived in Tampa that morning and couldn't check into our Air BnB until 4pm so we needed somewhere to go in between.  Everyone that worked at the hotel and pool were very friendly and helpful!  The hotel held our bags so we didn't have to bring them to the pool and one of the guys at the pool helped us blow up a raft.  We ordered tacos and quesadilla platters which were very tasty and the perfect sharing options.  We were there on a Friday afternoon and the pool was pretty empty which was sort of nice but also sort of wish we had been there later in the day or on a weekend when I believe they have music and more of a party atmosphere.  Overall we had a great time and I would definitely recommend this!

When I booked The Godfrey Hotel in Tampa, Florida. It said private cabana comes with TV there was a bunch of screw holes on the wall instead, when we asked they said tv were broken because of the elements outside, it was a pretty cold day for Tampa so when we said thank goodness pool is heated we were told neither one of their 2 pools were heated, we were told no...heaters are broken, cabana did not come with lounge chairs, we left the cabana for most of the day so we could lay on a lounge chair. People at hotel were not welcoming or friendly AT ALL! 
So I'd like to think Resort Pass in not false advertising resorts but more research needs to be done on your part to make sure customers definitely get what they pay for. It reflects on Resort Pass, people will not return if they are disappointed in what you sold them. Flor Kaiser

Not what I paid for!

I told these people my pregnant wife was sick and we were not able to attend. Two hours after I booked it and they refused to give me a refund. Do not use this service or hotel.
