1. Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino

“After debarking a cruise ship at 8:00 a.m. and not having a flight leaving for home until 6:00 p.m., I was very much intrigued by the idea of spending a day at a resort without having to book a room.

My expectations were exceeded in all aspects. The front desk had my information and made it very easy to check-in., and secure my bags until I was prepared to leave. I spent most of my time relaxing by the pool, on a lounge chair under an umbrella and had lunch at the poolside lunch shop. As the day wore on, I moved myself and the book I’d been reading down to the Lobby, and spent time in a comfortable chair, sporadically getting up to entertain myself in the Casino.

The staff everywhere was pleasant and accommodating. There were not any taxis stationing themselves nearby at the time, but the bellman offered to call one. I elected to get an Uber, and it showed up seven minutes later to take me on the twenty-minute ride to the airport.

Great experience all around. Highly recommended”

“Early off a cruise ship in San Juan with no place to go before a 4 pm flight back to the mainland but don’t feel like paying over $100 dollars per person for a day pass at a fancy hotel on the beach? No problem. free wifi-Check! Use of pool with a nice lounge chair and pool umbrella-Check! Nice restaurant and coffee shop to hang out in comfortable air-conditioned surroundings! Outdoor shower by the pool with a really nice, clean bathroom to change into something to fly in-Check! Super nice, helpful staff to help with transportation to the airport if you haven’t arranged something already! All for $84.18 per couple. This may be the best kept Resort Pass secret for a pre or post-cruise day pass in San Juan- only 5 minutes from the Pan American cruise terminal.”

3. The Condado Plaza Hotel

“I booked a day pass because my check-out time from my AirBnB was at 11 am but my flight wasn’t scheduled to depart until almost 7 pm. I wanted a location that had both a pool and beach access. Admittedly, this wasn’t my first choice property (that one was sold out) but in terms of amenities it ranks the same, and while $20 more—that $20 goes towards food/beverage purchases you make while at the hotel. The hotel also requests a credit card when you check in and holds $50 against that card for any purchases you may make while there.

Check-in was smooth and the luggage storage was greatly appreciated (another reason I chose a day pass instead of exploring the city more). The beach area isn’t exclusive to the hotel & can get crowded but the hotel staff on the beach is pretty attentive and tries to get you the best spot available when you arrive. The staff at the pool bar were also welcoming and I enjoyed being able to sit in the pool AND drink. I enjoyed myself & would use ResortPass again”

“I learned about the resort pass app after reading several Airbnb reviews. We were trying to decide whether to stay in a resort or an Airbnb since we wanted to book several excursions. The resort pass is the best way to save money staying at an Airbnb but still experience a resort as a paying guest! I went in thinking it was too good to be true but I’m glad I was wrong. It was AWESOME! We paid $50 to reserve a day bed and have access to all amenities as a paying guest at the most beautiful hotel, Fairmont El San Juan. We had a designated server and were obligated to spend a minimum of $200 with our server. This was not a problem since we were planning to be there from 10 – 6. Everything was provided for us. Towels, water, Sunblock. We had access to all 4 pools and the beach as well. I’m not sure if there were showers if you need to clean up after the day because we were staying in a condo next door so we didn’t need to use their showers. We may book another one for tomorrow! Thank you!”

“My family loved our day here! We each got a day pass + lunch ticket and it was so worth it. We spent 9:30a-4p lounging at the pool under an umbrella. Definitely glad we got there early because we got the last chairs next to an umbrella, and it was just 30 minutes after the pool opened. The attendants were so kind, especially Marcia, and we had our lunch/drinks brought to our chairs and our waters refilled all day. Easy access to the beach so we could do BOTH, but we just mostly stayed at the pool. Would definitely recommend it for the price. It was the most bang for our buck of any day pass opportunity in Puerto Rico, at only $55 for the lunch to be included. Loved it!”

Check-in was a bit lengthy; first, we had to check in at the front desk and get our wristbands, then we had to check in at the pool/towel area to get access to our cabana, but the gracious courtesy of all employees made it worthwhile. Mario at the pool area was attentive and diligent in escorting our cabana and making sure we were settled. Gloria at the poolside restaurant was one of the best servers we have ever encountered, she checked on us constantly made sure we had everything we needed, and made perfect recommendations. If you are looking for a relaxing and lovely experience in a lush and pristine pool/beach setting, this is perfect for you.”

“The Condado Ocean Club was absolutely amazing. My group purchased the Cabana day pass which was totally worth it. We started with breakfast at The Social before checking in. Breakfast was delicious and the service was perfect. The check-in process was effortless. We were able to pick the cabana as well. We had a complimentary bottle of champagne paired with whatever juice we desired. Yarielle took the best care of us as well as the rest of the staff. The pool was a perfect temperature with an amazing view. The beach area is extremely rocky but nice for a quick dip and lots of photos. Pool side service was perfect and the menu had many options. I wish we would have stayed at this hotel!”

“The pool cabana was perfectly situated to see kids swimming at the pool. Clean and comfortable. The fruit plate and bottled water were helpful. The food and drinks at the tiki bar were delicious. Our server Lesa was very attentive and professional. It was also great to be able to walk over to the beach and use the beach chairs and umbrellas- will return!”

9. La Concha Renaissance Resort

“This was our first resort pass experience and it did NOT disappoint! The check-in process was easy and the staff at La Concha were so welcoming and friendly. We started at the concierge desk and that gentleman was lovely. Then Thalia gave us a tour and explained the layout for the day. She was so friendly and professional. Our cabana was comfortable and perfectly situated in a sandy part of the pool complex just steps from the beach. EVERYONE, without exception, was top-notch. A bottle of Rose was included with the reservation and we assumed it would be a lower-end wine, but it was one of our favorites so we got two more bottles! The food was also delicious and delivered hot with any sides super fresh and crispy. Because of this experience, we look forward to coming back and staying at La Concha next time we are in Puerto Rico. Cheers!”
