The Clarendon Hotel and Spa

Went midweek for a pool day with a cabana. Had hoped the cabana would provide shade from the 110 degree sun, but none have any shade structure. Fortunately there were umbrellas by the pool so that was alleviated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ordered a burger from the restaurant and they brought it out poolside - it was delicious. To access the restrooms, we had to go back into the lobby and through the restaurant - direct pool access would be nicer. Would also be nice to have ice water available by the pool rather than having to go inside to the bar in a wet suit. Overall a great day and would go back again!

Urban Escape

Rented a cabana for a kid free weekend along with a few other couples.  Turns out the money I paid for this "reserved" cabana was basically flushing it down the toilet. All cabanas are 'first come first serve' so we got what was left (we were ready for the cabana at 10am and went to the front desk for our reservation) and got what was left which was almost entirely in the sun. NONE of the folks already there paid for a cabana - I know, I asked them.  TOTAL waste of money.  Save your $100+ and just get there at the ass crack of dawn and pick the cabana you want.  Totally stupid and I won't be back. Not only that the hotel staff are rude and not accommodating.  I won't be back.

The reservation scratched our itch for a pool day. There was much to be desired about the service and pool.

Its fine

The hotel pool area looked nothing like the pictures. Old and run down.  Paid $5 for towel, walked out to the pool and every chair had one already on it. Won't be returning.

The pool was super cloudy with white things floating in it. The hot tub had a hose running across the deck to keep the water at level. The water features surrounding the pool have not been cleaned in so long there is algae growth on the glass. No pool side service available. We stayed for 30 minutes at the pool and left, never daring to get into the water. 

Pool looked like it had a yeast infection 

Went there for Mother's Day with friends only to discover that the bar/restaurant was closed. No where on the website did they mention those would be closed. There was also no water by the pool. We had to make multiple trips to the gym for water. They did let us bring in our food and drink and use a cabana that hadn't been reserved so it wasn't all bad.

Disappointed 

The bar and restaurant was closed so it was a huge disappointment considering we booked for a mother's day day out. Completely false advertising and very unimpressed overall

No bar or food

We had a super relaxing time. We got here around 11 and basically had the place to ourselves. Chairs were nice and came with towels. The pool was super refreshing and clean. There was a DJ around 4 which was fun and picked up the energy! 

Fun Atmosphere 

The staff is friendly and the grounds were neat and pool and jacuzzi were clean. 

Great Day-cation Spot

Absolutely happy with costumer service and atmosphere! Highly recommended!
