This was our third time visiting the Grand Hyatt. The food is good, the service is great and the views are spectacular!

Paradise in Playa

Went for my birthday super nice hotel right on the beach.  I had only been here before for the cenote spa a few times.  Had decent food although had to search to find the food included with day pass.  Only negative was to change we had to use lobby bathroom which was a pretty long walk up hill

Such a relaxing day by the pool overlooking the ocean. Food was great, and a gorgeous location. 

Beautiful Day!

A lot of pools for everyone to use.  It did not feel packed.  Great baby pool and kid pools.  Service was slow, we had to ask for our towels, they never gave complimentary water bottles until we asked for it in the end.  The resort doesn't know about the $30 resort credit per person.  They go by a different set of policies when it comes to resort credit for day passes.  They owe $10 in food credit but we didnt want to spend time arguing over $10.  Resort pass needs to make sure that whatever they advertise on their website is also clear on the resorts side.

Location is very close to 5th Ave.  

We are 3 to daycation, my wife, my baby (4 months) old, and me. We spent the entire day using the 3 pools and the sea in front of our beach chair. Was one of most wonderful experience we have lived in Cancun. 

Awesome to stay and enjoy the beach 

Hotel on the ocean.  Beautiful, stunning view.  Great facilities.  Pools are broken up into different sections which is a bit inefficient compared to one or two large pool.  No pool bar.  Great service and staff. But nice layout for quiet.  I came on Wednesday in March and not crowded.  No jacuzzi except downstairs in spa if you pay extra and not accessible easily.  $30 meal credit is great, but the food is really poor and expensive.  As a resort, I understand higher prices, but food quality was really poor even for kids.  Ocean area is surrounded by ropes which is very nice.  With taxes and fees ended up being closer to $75.  For that money, the major difference between going to any of the beach clubs and this resort is the freshwater pools, which may be worth it to you.  I spent half the time up top off pool and then went down to chairs on ocean.  

Great location, nice staff, good credit, poor food

Gorgeous infinity pools overlooking the ocean, with access to the beach. The food and drinks were expensive but it was great to have some food and drink included in the price. There were multiple pools and plenty of room to sit and lounge. Highly recommend!

Great resort, location, and spa 

We got a prime spot at the pool overlooking the beach and spent the entire day lounging. There is an adult pool and family friendly pool, so you can pick your poison. There is a $30 credit toward F&B and you have access to towels, showers and the bathrooms. Definitely recommend!!
