Great location

Tastefully decorated very cool spot not at all what I expected. Only bad thing is that the adjacent bar/grill is closed on Wednesday when we reserved it. We will be back to use the work accommodations!

We were treated well and enjoyed some poolside food, the staff was courteous and friendly to us. Thank you. 

Nice pool and diner 

Fun, funky, artsy, small pool with nice loungers and umbrellas, we parked in the lot next to the pool and that makes it very convenient . Outdoor shower and towels provided. Retro motel with hipster touches make this a fun and quaint swimming day. Food is good, ordered classic hamburger very delicious and beers. Its around $17 for a burger and beers around $8. Lots of places to sit and lounge other than pool area if you want, theres a canal right next to Selma to look at, many other hotels and restaurants on Biscayne make this a great location for a low key Saturday. I would go back, the staff is very friendly and its kept very clean. 

East parking and sparkling pool

We were staying at the small airbnb apartment near by, and wanted have a relaxing day at the pool so we booked a day pass. The pool was so lovely. This motel got super cute midcentury vintage vibe and staffs were all very friendly. Maybe because it was a weekday, pool was pretty empty and we were able to get chairs easily. After swimming, we got a slice of key lime pie and a cocktail at the restaurant. key lime pie was sooo delicious! We also saw manatees swimming at the river while eating a pie. It was a great experience. We would love to stay this motel next time we come back to Miami!

So the pictures are a little deceiving, however it was still an enjoyable experience! The restaurant has changed, but loved the breakfast all day options and that was probably the best avocado toast I've ever had! If you're looking for a simple, "me" time experience than this is the spot for you, make sure to pack your sunscreen!

Work pass

The location is not ideal. The area is rough and not at all touristic. It is located next to the Miami River. Minutes away from Midtown/Wynwood, beach, downtown and Bayside. Parking is free. The spaces are limited but it was not at full occupancy so I am not sure what happens when the lot is full. There is a strip club next door, an Autoparts store across the street and a gas station.
This is a boutique hotel that is undergoing a revamp/remodel. The pool has brand new pool chairs and new landscaping. Do NOT pay for the paddle board on the resort pass.  There is another app PADL where the rental needs to be paid.  There are 2 paddle boards only. The river water is dark and murky.  It took more than 30 mins to make it down the river to the open ocean. We did not encounter any manatees.  The hotel staff was very pleasant. There is a Cafe Kush in the property. Same as Kush in Wynwood. Food was good. They were out of steak. Not allowed in there wet. No outdoor seating at restaurant.

Up and coming

Love the art deco feel and heading upstairs to the work area.  It is pleasant with antique type tables for 3-4 people.  All that is fine u til you realize the inner 2 desks don’t have access to an electric outlet?  And the internet is dreadfully slow - bad news when I need to zoom and browse at the same time.  Make it better and I’ll come back for the location price and convenience
