Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa

Big pool, lots of chairs, family friendly, it is close to the restaurant and bar in lobby. We purchased a pool pass only and they give you towels. You cant order food or drinks poolside but they allow you to bring it in. Lots of fire pits you can use and great view of the golf course. Highly recommend!

The hotel is beautiful, even on a rainy day! We cant wait to come back!

Great Location and Stay

The hotel itself is nice, but the listed amenities for what you pay for are incorrect. The hotel has not offered poolside food and drink since pre covid. The poolside menu found on their website is also incorrect. So if you are looking for a place where you can relax and have food and drinks poolside, this is not it! 

We were also told by the hotel that we needed to pay for the day pass if we wanted access to showers so we paid the extra price for the day pass. That was incorrect as there was a pool bathroom with a shower (included in the pool pass price). I reached out to resort pass to ask them to at least refund the difference between a pool and day pass and emails have gone unanswered. 

A bit of a bait a switch so just know what you are booking!

Fantastic service for a pool vacation

One of the pools had dirty underwear (rolled up like someone took them off really fast) next to the hot tub. The other pool areas hot tub barely worked. Really needed an afternoon to relax and this was my second time here. Never again.

Really disappointed 

Fantastic location. Great views from the restaurant. Pool was huge. Sauna and steam room was a great way to unwind and conclude the day trip.

Great location and amenities

Fantastic setting and very posh, pool, steam room, sauna, grounds had so many places to lounge: fire pit, hammocks, indoor outdoor restaurant spaces. Ample free parking, deer roaming in golf course, had a drink and delicious appetizers at the bar. Live music!  Best of all they were open until 10pm (the app said 7pm) so wr stayed all evening. Pools were warm, and empty, showers were huge rainfall with high end shampoo and lotion 

Full spa amenities 

Very relaxing and beautiful property.  Wish I knew about this last summer.
