1. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld

“If you’re looking for a day of pure relaxation, book a cabana at Doubletree by Hilton at Orlando Sea World. I arrived at 8 am and left at 6 pm. I would have stayed longer but had another commitment. My cabana booking came with 2 bottled water, 2 sodas, 2 cocktails and free wifi. And there was no cost to park at the hotel. The pool had a walk-up bar and “The Market” just outside the pool area was great for purchasing food to take back to the cabana.  If you prefer, there is also the Laguna restaurant — but I didn’t eat there as I wanted to enjoy the time poolside. 

For the morning, there were never more than 3 people in the pool — maybe a dozen enjoying the deck chairs. The afternoon was busier but even with 20-25 people in the pool, it didn’t feel crowded….the lagoon pool is big! There is another pool on the property that is family-focused, so I can’t speak to what that location is like.

If you’re looking for a fabulous day of relationship, definitely book here!!!”

“Another wonderful resort! Check-in was so easy with a friendly staff. The sun was shining right down on the pool area and I was able to rest the entire day. It was extremely quiet even though there were quite a few guests. Bar service opened up at two and it was the perfect time to grab a beverage and something to eat. It was a wonderful day! I will definitely be back!”

“Beautiful Resort, Great Amenities!!! Loved the indoor/outdoor pool! It was overcast, cold rainy outside BUT was fully able to enjoy pool time & hot tub indoors!!! Awesome shower facilities & Starbucks! Lovely lobby, a large TV to enjoy the football game & built-in phone chargers everywhere. So much fun!!! Highly recommend this Marriott Village Resort, 3 hotel complexes & ResortPass!!!”

“Booked a dayroom for this hotel and was very pleased with the establishment. The hotel is gorgeous, clean, and convenient. Check-in was so smooth and quick. The room was super clean and had everything needed for the day. I was able to shower, nap, enjoy the pool, and even walk around the premises and visit some of the stores conveniently located right across the street. I would definitely book another day room here.”

“We got the day pass for one day. First and foremost, the staff was so kind and helpful. The amenities, pool, and slides were so much fun but what made it even better, is that you can leave the resort and come back as long as you have your bracelets. When we came back, the kids were tired of swimming and the staff was so sweet to let us play in the game room for a while. We had a great time and we truly enjoyed a great time with the whole family! Would definitely come back!”

“Had a 7-hour layover and needed something to do besides people watch in a stinky airport.
This resort was a 15-minute ride from the airport and one of the best decisions ever. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in, bought great food & drinks, and then floated around this amazing pool course they had.
Overall, I had an amazing time but I do wish they had a bigger changing area and locker space for those travelers who may get the same idea.
Besides that, I look forward to hopefully having another lengthy layover in Orlando soon. I would love to spend another day here!!!

“Highly recommend this hotel for your overnight stay, or even get a day room or day pass. Have been here twice now and am thoroughly impressed with the building, the room, pool, but especially the cleanliness and the staff working here. They have typical amenities like a pool, and exercise room, but also a small soccer field, and basketball court. Parking is free and your vehicle can stay nice and cool from the Florida sun in the parking structure. Breakfast is the typical array of scrambled eggs, cereal, Mickey Mouse waffles, plenty of coffee, etc. During breakfast, they had plenty of staff available to keep things clean and tidy, food, and coffee stocked at all times, and when breakfast was over it was a beehive of activity with the very thorough cleanup, mopping, vacuuming, wiping down all surfaces, leaving the area spotless just a short time after having an army of hungry families in here eating, most impressive. Pricing is very competitive for being so close to the Disney Parks.”

“I had such an amazing day!  Everything went flawlessly.  There were a few times that things COULD have been problematic, but the resort stepped up, and I was impressed.

I originally picked this resort because they had an adult pool, and I really needed a “down” day to relax.  However, once I got there, I ended up going to the main pool (the adult pool is heated, and it was a brutally hot day out). The main pool was still as relaxing as can be. 

When I first arrived at the hotel, the parking lot was FULL.  I drove around and couldn’t find a spot at all. When I went to the gate to figure out what I was supposed to do, the gentleman there told me that since the lot was full, I could just go ahead and park in the valet area. Problem solved! 

I got checked in at the towel hut with no problems, got my wristband, passed to open the gates, and was told at the end of the day to take my parking pass for them to validate it. I did go to the bar at one time to get a frozen drink, brought the drink back to my chair, and within 5 seconds managed to spill it everywhere. The server walking around had another one made for me at no charge, which was a nice touch because it was not their fault at all.

At the end of the day, when I went to the hut to check out, they were out of validation passes and told me to go to the hotel front desk for one. I did that, and they gave me a pass, but the pass didn’t work on the way out. I pressed the “call” button, and I was let out within 30 seconds.  Good thing, because there was a line behind me!

It was a great day, and I would love to come back to this location soon!”

“I have been eyeing a few different resorts for quite some time now and this one is one that I was highly interested in. This was my first experience with Resportpass and it did not disappoint.  I booked a pass for Memorial Day and had an amazing time with the family. The hotel is very pretty and it is updated. The check-in staff was professional and helpful. We ended up ordering food with UbertEats as hotel food pricing can be a little bit pricey.  Pool attendants were VERY helpful and accommodated us with anything we needed. The pool area was clean and each chair had a fitted towel placed on it in addition to the towel provided to you. Parking price is $31.95 but with Resortpass it is discounted for $20.00 so please be sure to check out with front desk staff so they can honor that. I would definitely go back again as we had a great time and no complaints. ”

10. Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark

“I took my two kids here on a Tuesday and we had a great time.  We got a premium cabana.  It had a couch, TV, mini fridge, cabinet, and combination safe.  The pool area consisted of a large zero-entry lagoon pool with splash features, a kiddie area for young kids under 40 inches, and a “water park” with about seven slides.

Some of my thoughts:
– The cabana was totally worth it even though the cabinets were dirty. It was great having a place to put our stuff and go back to relax and watch TV during our long day.
– Only 3 of the slides were open. One of the closed slides had damage that could be seen. This was a letdown since the water park was one of the selling features. Nevertheless, my kids still enjoyed the slides they had open.
– The food court/mall was great. They had multiple food options at a decent price, Starbucks espresso drinks, a movie theater, a laser game, and an arcade. It was a great arcade with Mario Kart, TMNT, and other fun games.”

“I used a day pass for my 8-year-old daughter & myself. This was our first real vacation. We arrived in Orlando in the morning & couldn’t check in to our hotel until the afternoon. So we decided to spend the day at the resort until we felt like leaving. First, the price is amazing! You DO NOT pay what you get for. The grounds are beautiful. The employees are nice & helpful. The pool area is great. On the day we went there was more than enough space to have our hairs by the pool. There’s also table seating. & a special sushi garden which was a nice aesthetic.  The hotel provides clean unlimited towels. A $20 food voucher & a free wine or beer. They had a DJ. & it was just amazing. I could go on. But book yourself & see. WORTH IT! Oh yeah, my daughter loved it too! Not just for adults… lots of pool games & activities to do outside the water. Fun for all!”

“I was hoping this hotel was geared towards business travelers. It was an easy check-in. The pool was quiet and peaceful. At a few points, I was alone. Around 1 pm the bar/grill played music but not loud. I appreciated that. This a definite place I’ll come back to.”

“I was pretty happy with our day at the Swan! Once we got to the pool area and checked in at the Cabana hut we made our way to our seats which were clearly marked. We chose the Swan Lap Pool, and just FYI this pool is further away from the rest of the pools – was definitely a more calm pool, which I appreciated (minimal kids, relaxing environment). Ordering food is seamless and the bar was close by, plus the staff at the bar yesterday was very nice! I was surprised by how good the food was, I mean I got chicken tenders, but they were really good. You can use the swan paddle boats, and you have full access to the gym! The bathrooms were spotless and stocked. I wished there were more lockers though, we wanted to go on the water slide but didn’t want to leave our valuables. HIGHLY recommend a random weekday b/c it was pretty filled on a Tuesday. My only complaint was the parking, we parked by the Swan Hotel, and turns out was the wrong lot so we had to pay full price.”

Plenty of sun in the water park area and overhead cover for the kiddie pool. Lifeguards are on point and take their job very seriously. I’ll definitely be booking with Coco Key again!”
