Dining at The William Vale

The William Vale pool is the spot to be on a warm summer day in NYC. They have a great pool with fabulous views, plenty of food & drink options with enjoyable music. Highly recommend checking them out!

Perfect Day

Way too many chairs for a pool of that size, so the pool was soooo crowded and overly warm, ick. The service was not great. Even though it says table and drink service, you have to go up to the bar for a long wait. The bartenders were very scattered and even made my husband a Negroni without the Campari, gross. We were delivered someone elses food while we were in the pool so who knows how long it sat there. After we notified them I actually saw them go reliever it. Kind of gross if you ask me, usually they give that food to staff, toss or tell the misdelivered person to just keep it and make something fresh for the people who paid. For spending $500 on a lounge bed, I expected better and it used to be better when Ive come before. 

Service was terrible, v crowded pool

We celebrated my sisters 30th birthday here and although it was on a Wednesday, we still made the best of it. 

Birthday Daycation 

Had a great time but the staff could not keep up with the number of guests so it took a while for food and drinks and they clearly felt overworked. Otherwise pool was beautiful temperature and super clean as was the rest of the pool area. Would definitely go again!

Great pool, location and staff but understaffed

Pretty crowded, but overall nice, clean and convenient location. More worth it if you get at least a pergola so you have guaranteed seating. 

It was a little annoying for all those with a day pass taking up space along the sides of the pool for their stuff and towels. The walk way is narrow enough but then you have to walk around peoples stuff. 

Great location

Plans for three of us to have a girls afternoon at the pool- while it wasnt super hot out, the water was very warm and enjoyable to be in. It was pretty packed, and our group was accommodated even though our reserved space was not available. Excellent service from the manager! French fries are delicious and so are the margaritas! 

Lovely Late Afternoon Pool Day

I shared a loveseat (the individual chairs are located on the other side of the building, in the shade and not by the pool). It was a very pretty location with music at a nice level. I was looking forward to spending time in the pool. Unfortunately, it was filled with floating food, suntan lotion swirling on the surface, kids who were loudly splashing around the pool (while the lifeguard stared at his phone)... it was also pretty chilly for a heated pool. The service was friendly and I liked the food. I was there on a Thursday from noon-8. It's a pleasant atmosphere, but I wasn't thrilled with the pool. 

Pool Problems

I was initially seated at the terrace area since I booked a regular day pass, but the hostess was nice enough to seat me by the pool when it got less busy. Also - the option of outdoor shower is nice even though I didnt use it 

Great pool

The staff at the pool were great. Super friendly and attentive. 

No apple pay, everything is too expencieve
