Fontainebleau Miami Beach

We really had a difficult time with the hotel security. The pool security guard repeatedly demanded our hotel key. We explained that we didn't have one; we had paid $1500 for a day pass. Showed him the reservation details but he couldn't care less. No hotel key, no entrance. Eventually we just pushed past him and went to the cabana check-in station. They were quite helpful, checked us in by name, gave us wristbands, and set us up in the cabana. But every time we went passed the security guard, this guy really started hassling us. Eventually the cabana check-in staff got into an argument with the hotel security staff - something about the color of the wristbands. The pool staff tried to explain to the hotel security staff that I didn't have a room key and that I was a hotel guest. This arrangement seemed to come as complete news to the hotel security staff, and did nothing to sway him. Throughout the day he continued to heckle us. Made us feel really unwelcome.

We booked for 8 people. Our server was perfect. Her name was Zoe. We did not have to wait for anything. And everything was delivered with a smile.

Ordered 2 Margaritas, paid $30 each plus a required $12 gratuity. That was brutal.

Easy to Use

Using Resortpass in my hometown truly feels like a vacation. The Fontainebleau is one of my favorite resorts because it has a variety of seating areas and pools to enjoy. Kid friendly also.

Great resort experience

when we arrived, they did not have our reservation that was booked months in advance. So we started off dealing with that. Then they were unaware of the policy of receiving food in credit beverage and the amount of the base price, so I had to show them on your app that this was included. after dealing with all the headaches in the beginning, everything worked out smooth and we enjoyed ourselves. Some of the security were rude, but other than that I do love this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel!

It was nice, but it was hard to relax because the pool area quickly turned into a party place. There were two areas that had booming music, a loud DJ/MC on a microphone and just a lot of noise in general. A gentlemen staying at the hotel that sat next to us told us he had enough and left, but we had no where else to go. There were no accommodations for people like us who had luggage. We had just come off a cruise and used the ResortPass to have a place to stay while we waited for a later flight. The front desk refused to check our luggage and sent us to the pool area. The attendant there helped us out by hiding our luggage behind a bar, but that was it. Food and drink was expensive. 5 drinks and some wings were almost $200 with gratuity. One the plus side, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
