Fabulous as always

Staff is the most welcoming. With quick response in food and drink. Someone was there constantly checking up on us. Only critique is that website shows the day pass pool to be 21+. So I assumed that there would only be adults. We came to find young children splashing and yelling in the pool. Not exactly the vibe my partner and I were going for on our day of relaxation, but nonetheless, awesome experience. 

Daycation 

Great hotel and spa! The staff were extremely friendly, Stephanie provided an amazing facial, and Margies restaurant was delicious-with live music too! Highly recommend.

Best staycation

We had a great experience here with a weekday half day pass- the heated indoor area is huge and super cozy- the setup is perfect for taking a schvitz in the sauna then hanging out with some delicious food and drinks in the comfy robes. Great playlists, board games complete the vibe. 

Winter wonderland that beat expectations!

Will start out with the positive which is the staff. Very friendly and hospitable front desk woman who guided you from the start. Beautiful and relaxing waiting lounge outside the Spa. Comfy robe and slippers. Unfortunately the spa itself I do not think was worth the price tag. It felt a bit rushed and not the best, to be frank. I would come back simply for the facilities like the outdoor saunas and pool. I think there is room to improve in the actual spa service before I'd consider going back - especially at that cost.  

Room for Improvement

The Rockaway Hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The outdoor sauna and heated pool were great. The locker room in the spa was fine but extremely small. Only one person could get changed in there at a time. There was a bit of a wait, but they were very apologetic and offered an add-on service. Would definitely recommend!

Rockaway Hotel & Spa

It was the perfect day cation for me.  The sauna with aromatherapy was sooooo soothing and calming.  The heated pool was the right temperature on a day when weather was 40 Degrees.  Manager gave me a complimentary glass of Rose which was a nice touch. Ended up having a yummy lunch there as well.  10 out of 10!
