From the moment we checked in until we left we were treated wonderfully. The hotel is a more boutique against the high rises which I loved even more. Right on the beach with music playing and the gentleman at the pool Brian always asking if we needed anything. We enjoyed it so much that next time we are in Ft. Lauderdale we will be staying there.

Definitely a hidden gem of Ft. Lauderdale! Outside and away from the hustle of downtown the Pelican Grand is a terrific and unexpected getaway for a resort beach day. Valet parking and check-in are a breeze, although the lobby is crowded with guests checking out. The beach is very private, clean and fabulous! A day at their beach was great. Lazy river and pool looked good, but we chose beach over pool. Brunch was terrific, although the stone crabs, which are in season, were not fresh, so we were a bit disappointed. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time for Sunday brunch.

We had an incredible day at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort. The resort is directly on the beach, has beautiful amenities and very helpful staff. They even accommodated 5 of us in the spa to shower before leaving for the airport for our long journey home. I only wish we could have spent the night!

You won’t feel like you are in South Florida visiting here. Can’t beat the price and quiet of this location. Food is yummy and beach chairs come with the daypass. If you go on a Sunday like I did with a friend, have the brunch! Beautiful and serene and cozy location. A great deal.

We needed to spend six hours after our Princess cruise before out flight left. Although a small hotel the service was phenomenal! Many thanks to Brian at the pool, who could not do enough for us. We were given our choice of seats by the pool (we could have chosen the beach), towels were brought and chairs and umbrella set up for us by Johnny. During the day, Brian moved our umbrella twice to keep us in the shade. He also brought us water, a cup of ice, extra towels and checked on us regularly. This gentleman works diligently and makes each guest feel very special. We also had lunch with pool side service and it was delicious. Brian, the concierge, ordered a taxi for us, when we were ready to go. Although the pool and lazy river are small, they were heated and kept everyone happy. Even the visiting children were well behaved! The beach was perfect, the water clear and no waves that day. While in the ocean, I could see my toe nails! Great stay!

We booked the Pelican Grand Beach Resort for the day we returned from our cruise. We had a later flight and wanted to just sit, relax and take in the last warm weather and dun before heading back to our cold, dreary home state. We were welcomed to a very big, clean and wonderfully smelling lobby- were provided a wristband and directed to the pool/ restaurant area to unwind. We spent hours just relaxing until it was time to grab an Uber to head to our flight-it was a perfect and inexpensive way to spend the day.

Beautiful hotel heated pool. Nice coffee shop. Friendly staff. If only the weather had been nice.

Came here with friends from out of town. Booked the same day- super easy check in- got bracelets at front desk and went out to the beach. The beach staff was helpful, especially for food, and discounted our lunch check as included in resort pass. Heads up that they do not serve alcoholic beverages on the beach but you can carry them out from the bar. My only complaint was that the beach chairs at this resort are very old and uncomfortable. We needed to switch out one or two that were so old the canvas was breaking. But other than that, super convenient and fun day on the beach. Valet discounted the parking as included when we showed our bracelets. Resort is really familiar and easy with Resort pass.

The hotel is very small and the pool area even smaller.. the lazy river is so tiny!! The Beach was nice... I did like that it is beach front.

It was 5 moms having a relaxing day without the kids. Although the weather was not the greatest, we still had a great time on the lazy river. The lunch we had was not that great and the desserts did not taste as they should have and were very small portioned. Other than that, great staff, service and amenities.
