Hyatt Regency Newport Beach

I love this location for a relaxing and fun pool day. They have 3 pools and they are all heated. Check in process really easy and nice big self parking lot. Beautiful grounds and pools really clean and well taken care of. 
The food service around the pool was great and drinks very yummy. About $14-15 per drink for mixed drinks. Also a selection of beer and wine. Also a food menu is also available and I have tried the sandwiches on the menu and they are good. Children menu also available. One of my favorite passes for a chill and relaxing afternoon by the pool. Great staff and quick service.

Great weekend vacation.

We got the indulge cabana for the day for $350, it was a nice time with friends but not at all what I was expecting... not as glamorous where you get drinks brought to you are the pool. The cabana was cozy with 4 of us girls and The seating was comfy. The indulge pool was a small area not like the picture above and was more private with a hot tub and there was a hammock. it was a bit chilly and overcast so we spent most of the time at the hot tub... We ordered some food and drink which was good, that they brought to our cabana they are nice there but I think it was not worth the money overall since we already have a pool and hot tub and it was basically like hanging out there. In the future I think probably just getting a room there would be more worth it then just going to the indulge pool for a day for the price. If I used the resort pass again it would probably be for hot springs or spa type of place thats more special. It did seem like a cool spot with fun games and stuff around! 

Pool Hangout

Went on a Tuesday and went to all three pools. I basically had the pool areas almost to myself. Beautiful setting, clean environment, friendly employees, and easily ordered and delivered to poolside, food. 
The food was delicious. I ordered the fig and olive oil flatbread. 
Highly recommended. 

So Relaxing

Loved the Hyatt for a day stay. They had 3 pools, a nice bar area and it was so relaxing. I am a local but I would stay here for a couple days because they have the boats down below and tons to do. The staff were super accommodating, professional and nice. I had a wonderful time. 

Nice and relaxing 

We had a great time at the indulge pool. However, we couldn't get the TV in the cabana to work. Told the front desk and nobody ever came out to help. The pool was nice, pretty empty compared to their other pool with a water slide. We had the entire area to ourselves. The self park lot was a little out of the way, so trips to the car were met with contempt. Not a real resort cabana experience, but when there's an empty pool nearby, who can complain. (I guess I can! But nice pool. Cute resort. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. And the hike along the back bay was great for bird watching.)

Hotel Pool

We chose this location as it offered a golf pass. We had a blast golfing the 9 holes. The layout of the holes can be a little confusing. No need to bring you whole set up, as they have you covered. 

They have tons of small games throughout the property like shuffle board, horseshoes, cornhole! 

The pool was amazing and quiet. Even had a pool bar to get some yummy drinks. 

Overall had a great experience and would 10/10 recommend. 

A trip for the memory book! 

The Hyatt Regency in Newport is a little bit tired and I would agree that the cabanas could use an update - but maybe that's why it's not more expensive. The free water bottles in the cabana were actually refilled water bottles rather than brand new. Unfortunately food was not great and it was expensive - so we did lunch but left for dinner. However, the pool was fantastic and overall it was a wonderful experience. The slide is fun for the kids and there's also corn hole and ping pong. The staff were helpful and friendly. The music was perfect and the atmosphere was just right. Relaxing and easy going. Helpful hints: although outside food and drink is not allowed in the pool area you can find a table on the hotel grounds near the pool and eat before going in. We brought our own snacks and the staff did not seem to mind. There are umbrellas if you decide on loungers rather than a cabana. I would do that next time.

Great service 

Hyatt is undergoing construction. The buildings are very old. So was the pool. Looked nothing like the picture Resort Pass has. Surrounded by rooms that seems like apartments. No music. Just felt like a community pool. Not a resort. Ordered food online with their link.  Very pricey but it was good. I wont go back to this one.
