Pool Pass

First, having Resort Pass as an option to use such a wonderful hotel was amazing. My grandchildren were on fall break from MPUSD, the weather was beautiful and we’ve used the Resort Pass before. Fortunately, the day was available. The pool was nicely heated, clean and for over an hour, we had the pool to ourselves. When it was time to call it a day, at check out the staff could not have been nicer, even made sure my grandchildren got s’more kits to make at home. Wasn’t our first visit, and most certainly, won’t be our last.

My 10 year old daughter and I had a great pool day! We used both pools and finished the day by making s’mores with the kits the hotel provides. We loved the fact that we were also able to use the steam room and sauna in the spa locker room. There was limited food options at the small counter (more coffee choices and bagged snacks than anything) but we had read that ahead of time on other reviews - so be prepared (restaurant doesn’t open until 5pm). We were prepared for the lack of food situation and had an amazing pool day nonetheless. Nice setting; I definitely recommend the Hyatt Monterey for a pool day!

Spa Pass

Always love going to the Hyatt spa fitness room. The sauna is magnificent in the fitness room as well equipped. They also have a steam room, but I don’t use it. One is also able to use the pool and Jacuzzi.. It was well worth the fee that resort pass.

Pool Pass

We loved our day. We chose a mid-week cloudy day and had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves. We sat directly next to the water fall feature in the comfortable loungers. There are towels provided that you access with a key carded shed. They also have a small toilet/shower building just outside the main pool area. It’s not obvious and the sign in small, but it’s private and has a locking door. The front desk person even invited us for marshmallows but we didn’t stay late enough. Lovely facilities right on a golf course, just off route 1. They have two pools but we chose the right one. Oh, the pool is heated but not warm. The hot tub is lovely.

Relaxing Time! Very quiet and beautiful setting, now, that the summer business is over. Check-in is very easy, pool is clean and heated, and the restaurant for cappuccino right there!

Pool Pass

The pool and atmosphere was great, but what knocked it down for me was the fact that it says there’s poolside food and drink. . but there’s not until 5pm. We went there (with a toddler) expecting to be able to eat lunch and spend a good 4-5 hours here, which would have made the price worth it. It also says you cannot bring in outside food or bevs, which as any parent knows is impossible with a toddler. So sadly, without any real food we had to leave much earlier than expected. So for the price we paid it didn’t quite seem worth ti. We wish they would have just said this in the description!
