Great weekend getaway

Love the spot!

The pools are kept at a good temperature and always nice to have a choice between 2. (Not quite into the suds that have been added to the hot tubs.) The surroundings are pretty nice as well, though getting from the outdoor pools back to the showers can be a little cold in November... but totally doable! Locker rooms are clean. Showers are okay, though hot water was not as plentiful as desired and there was a slightly fetid smell happening, possibly from the drainage? (My husband indicated this was happening in the men's lockers as well.)

I stayed at Chaminade about 10 years ago on a work trip and it was such fun to see all the improvements to the pools and spa area. I was staying with friends in the area, so the ResortPass was a perfect treat to get to pamper myself. I’ll definitely plan an overnight stay at Chaminade sometime and try ResortPass again. 5 stars all around!

What a great day! 

We will probably be back for the pools, but we were very disappointed with the food truck. The online menu indicated they had fish tacos, ceviche, brisket sandwiches, etc… but they only had chicken fingers & fries.

Favorite local spot

Chaminade has a wonderful salt sauna that is new I think.  Unfortunately, the steam room smells of mold!  Yikes!  So I just concentrated on using the sauna.  The front desk staff were very friendly but a short friendly orientation tour would be helpful to a newcomer like me.  I had to find everything on my own.

My vacaday

A lovely resort, I had the steam room to myself and it was quite nice. I went to the spa for a very good massage. And I watched the sunset from the secret private hot tub behind the spa. It seemed a great place to bring kids and or a family or to come in a group with work buddies. BUT I went there to swim so was very disappointed when I saw how small, shallow and crowded both of the pools were. No way to do laps, no way to tread water, not even enough room to water jog. I was very disappointed.
