Amazing afternoon !!

Al ingresas a recepción con número de  reservación en mano, el host de nombre Jesus dijo no conocer el medio por el cual se hizo este y que no les aprecia en el sistema a pesar de mostrarle los correos de confirmación el decía que no había reservación hasta que literal le dicte una vez el número apareció mágicamente, igualmente el day pass era el día del sb y le mostró a tmb los mensajes donde por medio de sus medios de comunicación y aun asi no me creyó lo cual su forma resultó bastante grosera, en fin ya en el daypass la atención fue bastante buena calidad de comida regular 

Mala atención recepción 

Everything was very professional and the customer service was terrific, from the checkin to the food and beverage service at the rooftop pool area. My server, Maggie, was friendly and very helpful. Excellent nearby shopping was icing on the cake!

Great location and value!

The roof top views were nice. Pool and hot tub were cooler than expected, but it was nearly empty. The 800 pesos for drinks and food kept me going for about 4/5 hours. I had the portabella tostada and margaritas. All of which were excellent.  I had to go up to the bar for service, but staff was friendly. There was also a free ice cream bar that popped up. Not especially sunny in the morning because of the location of the building, but I made due.

Fantastic view and ambiance 

The amenities and space was gorgeous, clean, with wonderful customer service. Top marks on all the important stuff, but I had to knock off a star because I hated having to leave my ID at the front desk. I actually forgot it on the way out and flew off without it! When trying to call the front desk, I found it extremely challenging to get in touch with the front desk. Fortunately after a lot if perseverance, I got it back. But I really would prefer another method of having them hold your driver’s license, for example taking a copy of putting down a credit card. 

Beautiful space to hang, but had issues 

The view was beautiful the pool was perfect great music and even better customer service! Wait staff and bartenders were attentive and friendly. Would’ve give it 5 stars but the phone (although plated beautifully) wasn’t very flavorful  

Great customer service 

I recently had a 5 star resort pass experience at the Coral Level at Iberostar Selection however the Canopy in Cancun La Isla was horrible to say the least. The hotel experience starts with how you are treated by the first hotel employee, the door man. 
He saw my luggage and asked if I want to check in and I said “yes for the day” and then he responded that I cannot leave my luggage here which shocked me right away. The front desk lady told me I have to take it upstairs to the pool area which is the only place I could stay for the day including the gym, WTF? So here I was, 4 pieces of luggage which I took up to the roof and placed them in some corner hoping no one would steal anything -> no relaxation possible. Next: service, to order something even when sitting at the tables surrounding the bar I had to go to the bar and ask. Waiters didn’t walk around regularly checking on the guests, had to remind them. No real changing rooms available either, difficult to get dressed. Not again! 

Not coming again.

I love the layout of the rooftop, lots of photo ops and views. The canopy hotel is certainly one to consider during your stay in Cancun. But if you only have a day the day pass is going to give you all of the feels. Great vegetarian options on the menu, awesome drinks election and the staff was very attentive. I felt like a hotel guest. Best ResortPass yet.
