Poolside Cabana

By far my most favorite resort pass. The pool was clean and perfect for the LA heat wave. We stayed in the pool side cabana and it was totally worth it. Highly highly recommend.

Poolside Cabana

The pool and setting and vibe was great. The service was terrible. We paid hundreds of dollars for a cabana, and the only time someone from the hotel came to talk to us was to ask if we actually did reserve the cabana. Nobody came by to take any drink orders, nobody offered us waters through the day, the service was completely invisible. There was a phone number to call the restaurant for food, but the number just went to voicemail! We tried several times! Finally, we looked up the number for the front, called there, and they took our order. The food came out a little over an hour later. Cool vibe, horrendous service.

Day Pass

It's been the only pool that I come to for over 5 years. The quality of people and the staff makes it all even better

Day Pass

We recently visited Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel with Resort Pass. The pool itself was pleasant, clean, and well maintained, and overall it was a nice setting for a day by the pool. However, the lack of poolside service was disappointing and made ordering food and drinks a slow & cumbersome process. It would have made a big difference to have staff available poolside to take orders. Unfortunately, our experience was also affected by a family who essentially took over the pool area playing “Marco Polo” loudly for an extended period. While we completely understand families wanting to have fun, the noise made it difficult to enjoy the pool as a relaxing environment. With better poolside service and a little more attention to maintaining a peaceful atmosphere, this could be a much more enjoyable day-pass experience.

Poolside Cabana

I’ve been to many ResortPass locations, and unfortunately this one really fell short. The pool itself is lovely and clean, but the hotel just doesn’t seem set up for pool guests who want to order food and drinks. There was no server at the pool, and after waiting for around two hours, I finally called reception. Reception isn’t close to the pool, and I spent about 20 minutes trying to get through. When someone finally answered, I was put on hold while she went to grab a pen - and she never came back! So the whole process started again! I eventually managed to order food, but when it arrived, one of the meals was missing. The bill was also confusing. I initially thought I’d been charged for the missing meal, but it turned out there was a 19% gratuity added, plus a delivery charge, and then I had also added an additional tip without realizing. It made an already expensive food order even more expensive. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of apology. When I left, I went to reception specifically to let them know how poor the service had been. The response from the person at the front desk was simply, “If you want compensation, email the food manager. ” I wasn’t asking for compensation. A simple, “I’m really sorry we fell short today,” would have gone a long way. Between the cabana, food and parking, we spent close to $500. For that amount of money, I expected a much better level of service. Sadly, I won’t be returning!
