Clean and nice facilities. We went on a weekday in October so we had the pool all to ourselves. The staff was friendly and accomodating

The hotel is in a great location across from the beach, has poolside drink and food service as well as a restaurant/bar upstairs, and has a cute mid-century feel. The accuracy of the orders at the pool was lacking, but the staff was willing to fix any issues.

Nice property but the upper deck has a great view. The bathroom was not clean but it looked like it has a warm and friendly atmosphere and located near a good piece of beach

First, the staff at this hotel are really great and the hotel is a cool throwback. No complaints about the people or food/drink quality. The Saturday we were there, they had no service at the pool. So every time one of us needed a drink or food, we had to get out of the water, walk 40 yards, go inside to the lobby bar and stand there dripping. Maybe weird complaint, but my wife and I have worked in the music industry our entire professional careers (all types) and, over the 4 hours we were there, neither of us heard a song we knew until they played a Lizzo song right before we left. The volume was so low that we could barely hear it anyway. A pool day where you feel the need to talk quietly isn't very festive.

Unfortunately, my day-pass experience at Hotel Lucine did not match the property’s online presentation or the price paid. The facilities felt dated and poorly maintained, and the overall condition of the space made it difficult to relax or enjoy the day as planned. I was disappointed enough that I left rather than use the amenities. The staff members I encountered were polite, but the condition of the property was the main issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing a day pass unless the facilities are updated and better maintained.

They say you get what you pay for, not always necessarily true. If I book RP in Galveston again, will probably do the one down the road I did previously. IMO, it just wasn’t worth it to me the 40$ more for this property. While it was nice, the chairs were not in the best shape and pool was a bit small. Lady at fd who checked me in was lovely. Parking was limited and small. I wasn’t feeling it so after about an hour I left and headed home.

My husband and I had a great time at Hotel Lucine for the day. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, drinks were strong, place was clean, and vibe was chill. Would definitely come back!
