TradeWinds Resort

Honestly, this was insanely disappointing. My fianc and I needed somewhere to go, so we got a day pass to this. The cabana that came with the day pass was disgusting and the chair cover was ripping apart. The customer service was horrible and they treated us horribly. Asking question proceeded to make them very mad and no one was helpful. Honestly, It was a horrible experience. And we paid 200$ for two day passes and expected much more.

There was construction noises and also a mess to view while at pool deom construction     Bathrooms  near pool were horrendously filthy   Inirderef food to be seliveres to my cabana and it was taken to wrong place

Poor atmosphere 

Bill at the front gate was extremely helpful and very sweet.
Stephanie from the bar was full of enthusiasm and very personable.
Eli who worked Setting up the cabanas was a delight and so polite.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan to come back very soon.

Incredible location 

This "resort" is so run down and crowded. Everything was old and dirty one you left the lobby. Bathrooms gross. They have a little river to use paddle boats that has ducks in it, it was full of trash and dirty looking water. Felt bad for the ducks. EVERY pool was so crowded by 11am that ppl were basically standing on top of each other in the water, there were no lounge chairs by 11am, adult pool was full of parents and small kids. None of the 6 attendants at the beach cabanas (included with the pass) knew that it was included and insisted we had to make a reservation in advance. Explained it 3 times before they finally just gave up and gave us one. Everything was dirty, rusty and run down. I would never in a million years stay here or even return for the day. Most of the ppl seemed like they go there to let their kids run around the resort area and pools without watching them. Even my teenager couldn't wait to leave. $25 to park also. Was NOT worth it at all.

We enjoyed our day trip to the Tradewinds Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida.  It was an easy drive from our location in Orlando.  They provided food service to the beach!  There are several pools available for the day.  We had to pay for parking (which was unexpected), but we also got two free drink tickets for the bar.  Margarita at the front desk was SUPER welcoming!  We felt right at home :-).  Overall, it was a good beach day.
