Awesome experience! 

Great location 

This was awesome, loved the option of paying a day rate for a great hotel, spa, food & pool. Staff was fantastic, service was wonderful, but after making the reservation, in small print was... we had to spend $400 dollars after spending $500+ for the day rental of the Cabana. NOT COOL. That feee was ridiculous and too high, after such a high cost for the cabana. Won't do that ever again. 

AWESOME, but beware of hidden spending requirement

Perfect day

We were a party of 6 women, 5 of us had massages scheduled at various times at the facilty so we decided to use rent a Cabana which could only be done via Resortpass. Despite having paid for the massages and lunch at the pool's restaurant, the cabana server gave us a hard time because we were 6 instead of 4, although no more than 4 were ever together at the cabana since we had our massages scheduled throught the day. She also kept emphasizing that we had to spend an additional $400 with her in food and drinks besides the $400 already paid to reserve the cabana. It was incredibly annoying, particularly considering how much money we had already spent atThe Standard. 

Overrrated and overpriced

We live in Miami and love getting rooms at the hotel for staycations--but the cabana is a great option for a fun group activity! Craig our server was great. Only downside was that rain chased us out earlier than we had hoped! Regardless, I would highly recommend. 

Relaxation at its finest 

Standard is one of the calmest places in MB. If you’re looking for a loud and boisterous pool party, this isn’t the place. If you’re looking for a gorgeous setting on the bay with excellent food, great service and the coolest vibe on the planet, this is where you want to be. Note that they are very strict about limiting the number of guests to the number allowed - but that’s a plus in my book because it’s designed to keep everything flowing properly. 

Standard is zen 

Such a nice way to experience the standard. I highly recommend. The pool is so beautiful, vibe is chill (very different than south beach) , drinks and food are great. Our server Danny was great!! I will def do again.
