The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel

All was good.  Nice staff, towels, heated pool, hot tub, lounge chairs.  Food and drinks were decent, not the wow factor though.  Great for kids or people without as there is a lot of space. My one recommendation is they need someone cleaning that pool more frequently.  Filled with bugs a d in one side a hairball. It was mentioned twice and while I was there for 3 hrs not taken care of.  

One recommendation 

I expected the pool at the Waldorf Astoria to be clean and fully serviced.  When we checked in we were just handed a key card and given directions to access the pool.  When we got to the pool it was quiet and there were plenty of chairs but the pool was dirty with lots of bugs floating in it.  There was no pool bar service as noted and we were counting on lunch after an early flight.  There was warm water available with no ice and it looked like no one refilled it.  Towels were plentiful but there was absolutely no one at the bar or servicing the area around the pool.  We decided to leave early to find something to eat and the cost of admission was definitely not worth the experience.  People should be notified if there is no service or the hours of the pool bar and service change. We would not return for the pool. 

Not Great

The check in staff was so friendly and it was so easy. The pool was clean and comfortable. Nice jacuzzi. The pool attendant really added to a great day. Highly recommend. 

Great staff!

Great location! Great service! Great drinks! My husband and I were visiting NO for our anniversary and decided to check out the pool using resort pass. The location was in walking distance from our hotel. The drinks were great and were perfect during the summer heat.

everything was amazing, the pool was nice and cool the service was wonderful, the scenery was to die for lol will visit again.

We had a great time but we was off the a slow start. You check in at the spa which is like down the street and around the corner and back again. Other hotels in the area allow for check in at the conceriere or at reservation. Moving on so they made up with the work out from check in because the pool side attendants were very attentive. They provided us with clean towels for beach chairs, drying towels, cold wet towels ( the NOLA weather can be a beast), cold fruits, and frozen drinks. Our hamburger was made correctly, but the meat could use some seasoning. The environment was positive and clean.

We had a great time at the Roosevelt. The pool was beautiful and clean, and staff were quick and friendly. Great cocktails!

Beautiful Pool

The pool is small and needed to be netted for bugs. Service was not commensurate with the rate we paid. Had to ask waiter for drink multiple times and fries ordered from the restaurant located on another floor were old and stale. 

Not worth the money
