Spa Pass + JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE Day Pass

Wonderful customer service and an overall enjoyable experience. The hotel had a convention going on so it was very busy, but the spa was nice and calm. Good to note that the steam rooms are located in the locker rooms and are not co-ed, so if you’re coming with someone note that part of your day will be spent separately.

The pool and spa at the Ritz Carlton Downtown LA are very nice, and it was surprisingly quiet when we visited on a weekend. It didn’t seem like many hotel guests use the pool, which made it easy to choose a spot to relax. There isn’t traditional poolside service, but you can order food and drinks through a phone near the pool and have them delivered, similar to room service. We did not choose to use that option. The location is convenient—we walked to Yard House afterward for a meal. One thing to note is that the dark tile around the pool gets very hot in the sun, so sandals are a must. Overall, I had an enjoyable time, but it’s not necessarily a ResortPass pool I would choose again.

We had a lovely time here. I would say there isn’t as many amenities as I would expect. Basically it’s just a steam room and a locker room. The extra room where you can hang out is cute too but not really a spa service. The staff was excellent and brought out a little happy birthday treat for my friend.

Overall, the Ritz Carlton, Los Angeles pool experience was fantastic. Great set-up and the cabanas are big and comfortable. Alonso was very attentive too. The one downside is the sun on the pool deck getting blocked by the hotel starting at 3:30, which cut the afternoon a little short.
