The Beachcomber St. Pete Beach

I felt this was a good deal for a great location, its jot fancy but it does the job. I arrived around 11 am thinking I wouldnt have much of a selection left in terms of chairs but I ended up having a table with and umbrella and a lounger to myself.

Jimmy D.s was a bit pricey but to be expected for a beach side eatery- but the portions were HUGE I had an excellent cobb salad and the Bavarian pretzel sticks.

Whats not to like

We got our wristbands for the beach and walked right to our chairs, The chairs are first come first serve but there were plenty when we arrived. Nice stretch of soft sand, some rocks nearby to walk on and sit by the water. You have to find someone from house keeping to get a towel but they were close by . There is a restaurant in the back so that was easy for us to eat when we got there. The hotel is on the older side but if you're just going to the beach its cool. Grounds were clean

Easy & convenient 

Had a nice beach day but $50 for two chairs and umbrella at crowded beach with no service probably wont call me back

Nice amenities for the day! Pool/beach access with chairs, towels, solid wifi and nice restrooms. Both adult pool and family pool.
Best beach bar on the strip as well with drink specials, great food and live music. Never disappoints! 

Great all around day spot!

The Beachcomber staff, especially Terrance, made our first experience at the resort unforgettable. The staff were so patient, accomodating, and CHILL. They went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was exceptional. 

I walked in a stressed, exhausted, and overwhelmed mess. Their energy shifted my paradigm by offering a Coke Zero, a parking pass, and by providing a lunch reco. My elderly parents enjoyed the amenities and accessibility of the resort.  We left the resort restored and calm.  

Thank you folks!!  I will be back!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE & STAFF

Beautiful setting on the beach.  Front desk was very friendly and also the staff at restaurants.  We had such a great day sitting at the pool and perfect pool temp.  Cant wait to spend more days at this place.

Wonderful hotel 

Resort staff was very polite and accommodating. Nice to pull in, park and head right out to the beach where they had chairs, umbrellas and cabanas available so no need to bring your own chairs or towels. 
Shout out to Bill managing the beach chairs. He was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. 

Great Location 

Anthony, the manager of the Beachcomber, was so helpful in getting us checked in and explained everything. Parking was included and so are towels, and umbrella, and of course chairs. The beach bar is just a short walk away had had plenty of drinks and great food to choose from. We will definitely be back!

The best access to St. Pete Beach!

We enjoyed the beach w/ basic lounge chairs and an umbrella. The pool was crowded with kids, understandably. There is no service to the pool or the beach area. The restaurant and bar is hopping as it is open to the public w/live music. The food/drinks were good but a hearty public crowd, servers and bartenders were working really hard to keep up. To order food or drinks to take back to your lounger, you walk to the bar and wait patiently. If you order food you need to periodically go check with the bar if your food is ready. There is a very small pool for adults that is much more inset towards the lobby so its easy to see why people gravitate towards the main pool by the music and restaurant.  The pools aren't notable, pretty basic, not resort like. There is one bathroom & for women, there was often a line. For a Sunday, 1 adult and 1 teen was $150, & for this cost I would hope for more. We parked for free but the hotel says thats about to change. Enjoyable day, not worth the money.
