The service was fantastic! The  staff was  friendly and welcoming and very attentive! Our cabana tv didnt work but the manager made sure to come by and make it right. The sliders and fries were delicious! The pool is not but with the hotel being at the end of the strip the pool was not packed and there was no traffic! Which was just what we were looking for! The visit made us want to stay at the hotel! Definitely on our list for next visit!

Honestly, when I first saw the pool, I thought I am not sure that this is going to be a great experience. Well, the staff made the day. From the front desk, woman who checked us in to the person who set up our cabana, to the cocktail servers, this small pool was so much better than many big resort experiences.

It was a nice day but a bit surprised the cabana just had sofa chairs and not a daybed.

The entire staff, from the valet to the management was great and super welcoming. We rented a cabana and walked across the street to the beach a little later. The cabana was comfortable and shaded with a good view of the pool. Our server, Cory, was amazing, very friendly with wonderful service. The hotel management was also super friendly and very welcoming. We had a little issue and they fixed it right away. You can tell that service is a priority for them. Even though we were only there for the day, they treated us as if we were regular guests at the hotel. The food was pretty good.  If you order the conch fritters, tell them to leave that white powder off. I don't know what that seasoning was. Thats my only criticism. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Awesome

This was a great place to spend day between getting off cruise and before late flight. Very nice hotel with cabanas and heated pool. Little pricey in my opinion and food was over priced.

I had a wonderful time at the Sonesta. It is on a gorgeous stretch of Fort Lauderdale beach and the environment was very low key. The only thing I would improve is to add some food/drink service for the pool, and some music.

The place was great! The only thing is that during the sun hours there arent that many sunbeds in the sun..

Very nice

The hotel staff were very nice.  The pool and surrounding area were great: relaxing, clean and a nice vibe.  Would definitely come back again.

Nice stay

Barely any amenities, very drab decor , confusing rules about pets. One person says they are not allowed and then the next says they are. They are a beach hotel but you must have a shirt on and the security is adamant about the rules. The only good part was the treatment from the front desk lady. 

It's ok

Indulge in a day at the beach or pool as you enjoy cocktails and cuisine in your private cabana in the Florida sunshine.
