voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort

The food, customer service, and staff was amazing.  I loved the amenities but the DJ was only on for about an hour at mid day.  I feel that the DJ or music should be played longer.  It is a very relaxing atmosphere and would definitely recommend it to everyone.  Also one advise I would give is to bring bug mosquito spray.  Lots of mosquitos at night time.  Beautiful place and will be going back soon!!

Sandpiper Resort was amazing!

We really enjoyed the previous resort club med, albeit it was outdated.  We had low expectations as we knew the resort was still under construction. The construction did not bother us at all. The food was fantastic. The drinks are top notch. I would be happy to go back anytime!  The pools were great, but the non-motorized sports did not appear to be open. Also, the new ownership wontnon-motorized sports did not appear to be open. Also, the new ownership wont allow the hobby cat sailboat anymore.

Great day pass

I knew the resort before Wyndham took it over from Club Med, and they are doing a fantastic job making it a more modern style resort. The improvements did not bother our stay at all. The pool was absolutely amazing with the right temperature. The restaurant had fewer choices but top-quality food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The activities were fun and perfectly organized. The kayaks, which are free to use, are only operated when there is no wind. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a full day with drinks and food by a stunning pool, this is the place to go. I will definitely visit again, and I am looking forward to seeing it at the end of the construction.

Absolutely will go again !!!

I do feel like our day pass should have been much less cost since everything was closed except the pool. No large dinning room, no kids water area, no paddle boards, no cabanas by the pool, No snacks in between meals or service by the pool.  We paid full price for a quarter of the amenities. The food was also not like it used to be, much more basic.
I also have to say the service was not like it used to be. The employees in the shipping container food service on the beach were miserable. They also were making the food a different way and with different bread for each member of our party.  I will say the staff inside the dinning area was much better, you need more people like them. The bar service was very slow because only 2 people were staffed for the massive outside bar. 
Overall I was very disappointed. I was expecting a much better experience for the cost and deliverables noted upon purchasing.

This resort was very nice. The check in was easy, the food was great, and it was very family friendly. The site is still under construction, but it was still beautiful and enjoyable. Looking forward to visiting again and seeing it when its completed. 

Fun daycation

The property is under going major renovation. This did not detour our fun! The infinity adults only pool was amazing. Live DJ, open bar and the food truck a 5 minute walk. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and were impressed with the selection and freshness of food options. Can Wait to see the place redone and will definitely be back. 

Wonderful Time

Had a good mid week Day-cation at this all inclusive resort. You can arrive as early as 7 AM to make the most of your day. It is under construction but once you enter the reception area, the staff were more than attentive and very Friendly. I did not take advantage of any of the activities as I mainly stayed at the adult pool. It was well maintained, clean bathrooms, great view and lots of sunchairs, and umbrellas.  No poolside service but Lucies the food truck was not too far away, which offered a variety of small meals. You could get anything from a burger to Open face lamb sandwich with arugula (which was delicious). They also had a small bar. It was nice to see the executive chef doing a quality check at Lucies which clearly showed in the food. If you're looking for something more you would have to go to the main pool where the buffet restaurant is.  Super relaxing, Worth the price if you like to eat and drink

Great service and location 

Bought to day passes to try something different as we cannot travel anytime soon. I read reviews and although I read the resort is still under construction, I booked anyways. Front desk staff was not too nice upon our arrival. Gave us the impression that they are not fond of DAY PASS holders. I asked about parking as there was conflicting information in the reviews where some said it was free and others said it was $15 for the day. One had to ask the other which one of the two options was it. He had to look it up and then stated "IT IS LISTED ON THE APP" somewhat sarcastic. I replies, correct however the reviews IN THE APP are conflicting. Anyways, we went about our day. All other staff was great. We tipped each one, each time, made conversation and had a pretty good day. The food was so-so. Somewhat bland, lacking options and no wow factor. The food "truck" by their :beach/marina" was better.
