Sanderling Resort

I had a great day! The woman at the front desk was so nice. I enjoyed the beach chairs and pools. The food at the sandbar was not very good and very expensive. I tried to use the 5% discount for my food and they weren't able to enter it because a manager wasn't there.

Great location!

We live in Virginia so this was about a two our drive for us. The staff who greeted us were very welcoming. They took time to explain the property and everything we had access to. One thing that wasn't mentioned in the listing that actually should be is the day pass allows spa access where they have showers. Thats an especially nice amenity when you are just there for the day and do not want to drive back home with sand in your shorts. My only criticism of this property was the food. I felt it was overpriced for basic menu items. Id definitely visit again, but I may eat elsewhere. 

Great daycation! 

What a great day pass! All you can imagine and more. I was here in the Summer and there was more going on, but this time was quiet and relaxing. The staff is friendly and very helpful. 
I recommend this place. They will be renovating soon so call ahead so you know whats going on with the updates.

Great place!

My friend and I had been eagerly anticipating our visit to the Sanderling resort for quite some time. As our birthdays both fall in August, we decided to celebrate by booking a day pass to enjoy some time on the beach. The location was about an hour and a half away from home, and the drive was incredibly peaceful. 

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly woman who quickly found our reservations and handed us a card with some information on it. However, as first-timers, we weren't given any guidance on where to go or what to do. We had to ask a worker for directions to breakfast, only to later discover that there was a restaurant right behind us all along. Our meal took almost 25 minutes to arrive, but the food was decent and the server was pleasant. 

The outdoor pool and beach were fantastic, but unfortunately, the indoor pool could use some attention. We noticed cobwebs, spiders, rust, and leaks, which detracted from the experience. Overall, I would rate our visit a 6 out of 10.

Perfect place to spend the day before checking in to our house rental. Everything was lovely!

We cant wait to go back. The resort is so relaxing and beautiful. All the staff makes sure you are well taken care of.
