Absolutely delightful! There really is no place like Omni la Costa, except in Palm Springs, which is still not as Eden-like. That’s it - it’s a beautiful garden to spend the day in. Which is what I wanted. We lounged by the pool and read, took a nice swim, got some hot water therapy in the jacuzzi pool, and ate at the Bar Traza. Then back to the pool area to repeat. Oh…and a little shopping.

Omni La Costa Resort 

Our group enjoyed our relaxing day at Omni La Costa. The massage was great, yummy food, and loved the amenities. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were also very nice and attentive. The only downside was the extra charge of $70 the resort charged for taxes/fees upon leaving. I felt like I paid resort pass, I shouldn't have to pay MORE to the resort. 

* Keep in mind, if you happen to be a few minutes late your masseuse will deduct this time off our treatment. They run a strict schedule. 

Great Location but expensive

A lovely bit of holiday spirit in Southern California.  Gentle snow falling as we had drinks and snacks around a firepit.  Staff was SUPER even though it was Dec 25.

What a special event! Smores and Snow

Was disappointed in the "snow" for S'mores & Snowflakes. Service and hotel is always great.

12/25 Snow & Snowflakes

While the concept of the event was charming, it had some hiccups in its execution, for example the seats were soaked from the “snow”, so our family sat on wooden benches that were thankfully provided. Also the fire pit provided was a tabletop gas flame, not a fire pit. The sticks we were provided for toasting marshmallows were way too large for utilizing for the small flame at table. The charcuterie board and sweet treats, as well as hot chocolate was very nicely done, and we felt this was probably the most worthwhile part of the experience. The snowfall was nice as well. Unfortunately, even though the event was listed as private, many guests/visitors who were not part of the event kept walking over to area, posing for selfies, drinking the hot chocolate provided for the event and in general the event didn’t quite live up to what we thought it was going to be. I’m just glad I had gotten a discount on this, but even so, was still pretty pricey for what it was. Resort was very pretty.

S’mores & Snowfall Event

We love the Omni La Costa, but $220 for 8 people to sit around a fire pit and have hot cocoa and s’mores was very overpriced. A better price would have been $75. It did not feel festive; there was no one else outside anywhere, and we were freezing (blankets would have been great).

Overpriced

Very nice setting at a fireplace with a lovely view and occasional snow. Yummy hot chocolate and a very festive array of smores ingredients!  Expensive but lovely. 

S'mores and Snowfall

Great location 

Had a very pleasant and relaxing experience bringing the family to the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa for the day. Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff, good organization - we enjoyed ourselves and will be coming back next time we visit San Diego.

Great Day by the pool

We had a great time with my two small children! We are staying in Delmar and did not have a pool so this was ideal went for a few hours and really tired them out. Valet parking included poolside drinks and food, waterslide it was great.
