Even at the lower price, this place was underwhelming. Pool was dirty, chairs were hard/uncomfortable and the staff was ill equipped to serve food & drinks (as well as just unprofessional)

Not worth it

Seats were slidey and no shower facilities 

We went up to Napa for Memorial Day to relax by the pool. The check-in process was pretty straight forward. Our keys didn't work the first time, but that was quickly remedied. The pool had ample deck chairs when we arrived at 10am. There were also plenty of large umbrellas, if you preferred some shade. 

The food was surprisingly good. We initially ordered at the restaurant, but a pool-side server showed up around 11am. We ordered a few round of cocktails, which were tasty, but a little pricy. After spending 5ish hours reading, swimming, and generally lounging, we headed into the restaurant for happy hour and enjoyed our food by the fire pits. There also was a wine happy hour for hotel guests at 4pm, but we wanted to check out the downtown area before driving home. 

The only reason I gave them 4 stars was because the pool chairs were very uncomfortable. It took many towels to get comfortable, but luckily there were plenty available. 

So Relaxing

I came for Memorial Day and really had no issues. Great experience from end to end. The pool was lovely, the weather was nice, the only one thing I'd change is the comfort level of the lounge chairs. Super stiff and required several towels to really settle in. Other than that, I'd go again. 

Great Experience, Location and Staff.

We really liked the location, setting and environment. The pool was clean a prefect temperature. BUT, the lounge chairs were EXTREMELY uncomfortable, super hard, very slippery and difficult to move. They are great quality, all they need are cushions. I cannot imagine why they would not make this improvement. I would consider going back if I brought a yoga mat to lay on top. I have to assume this is Marriott is a "base" level property. And yet they have Tucci umbrellas, perplexing...

Easy & Pleasant

I got the day pass, which included access to amenities as well as a room. The steam room at the spa was very nice and relaxing. The spa was very clean and well maintained. The restaurant food was good and they offered a 15% discount on food with the day pass. The room was very nice. The grounds at the hotel were very nice, beautiful, and tranquil. Overall it was a lovely experience. One less star because the pool was advertised as being heated, but it was not. I was looking forward to going swimming, but did not because it was too cold. I did enjoy the experience overall, it is a beautiful hotel. 

Lively experience overall

Check in was smooth and went great and the pool area was beautiful. They had a pool side waitress that seemed bothered when we asked her questions. The menu online that we scanned had the cocktail drink name but didn't list the ingredients. When asking the waitress about the drinks she didn't know what was in them and didn't offer us a real menu or to go find out. Very poor service unfortunately. 

The pool was great, the service not so much 

We  really enjoyed a day by the pool, the water was not heated but it was good enough. Staffs was very nice. We definitely will come back. 

Day pass 

Easy check-in. The pool area is small so it got crowded at certain times. The lounge chairs were hard, we'll bring our own cushions next time. We ordered food and drinks using the QR code and was delivered to us. When we mentioned that we were there via ResortPass we were given a discount on both food and beverages, nice!
