Maybe pool hours should start later. Sun does not start to come to pool area till after 11:am. No attendance to inquire about area,
This was my first time visiting Hotel. Fries were good but crab cake was not lump meat.
I am from Maryland so I know my crab .

Pool area

Celebrated my birthday poolside w/ a reserved cabana. The pool was clean, staff was super attentive, food options were limited but tasty nonetheless. My guest & I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Wish I could give zero stars. One of the worst customer services experiences Ive had. 
I reserved a cabana from 4-10. and I pon entry, we were greeted by a waiter and showed her our reservation. She escorted us to a section with a sofa. Keep in mind, this is our very first experience coming here. 
So we enjoy the champagne and food for a few hours. We are then approached by the manager Tiffany, whom it is our first time seeing her. She proceeded to tell us that where we were sitting was incorrect as we were in the sofa section instead of the cabana (a $20 difference in booking price). She then states that the normal charge is $200 and that she would have to charge us for the experience that we enjoyed. 
I explained to her that we already prepaid a reservation for a cabana, and were seated here by our waiter. She insisted it was our responsibility to know we were in the wrong area. Long story short, we spoke with the front desk of to ensure we werent double charged. Never again

Very Poor and Disappointing Experience

All amenities were closed other than the pool. Not the hotels fault, seems like resort pass doesn't verify the actual hours of the bar and restaurant. Hotel staff tried to accommodate best they could and were really nice!!

I will definitely be back. The cabana was an excellent price and the music and food was good!! 

Staycation 

Super easy check-in. Parking was a little $$ if you park in the deck. Pool was small and only goes up to 4ft. Could have used a little cleaning, but overall it was fine. The seating/lounging area is a little cramped, especially when more people start showing up. I brought my own towels, so I can't speak to the quality of the ones provided, but it's nice that they do have them. I saw an outdoor shower to rinse off, but I didn't utilize it. The bathrooms were clean, and they were private stalls/rooms for 1 person at a time.

The bar was ok as far as drinks. I'm a little surprised that a midtown hotel bar doesn't have a cocktail menu, but maybe it was only the rooftop bar that didn't. It was funny to listen to the bachelorette party(ies) there that day trying to order espresso martinis, which much to their dismay they didn't have. Oh well.

If you go on a weekend: get there earlier rather than later. By mid-afternoon, it starts to fill up.

Quick & Easy Daycation

We had a great time at this pool. We booked last minute, but had no issue finding a spot to sit. Very quick bar service as well.

Was so cozy I fell asleep by the pool with the heated towels lol
