Booked Memorial Day weekend. No self parking. Slow service at check-in. Very slow service at the empty restaurant. Uncomfortable seating. Staff more concerned about setting up for evening events. Broken patio heaters/not enough heaters. The gym is good, but no bathrooms there. There was loud mobile phone use going on in the gym and no signs stating no mobile phone use permitted that we could see. The pool is cold. Only little kids braved the cold water. No adults swam. Hot tub also taken over by little kids most of the time. Food service at the pool was a challenge without a server going around. Management was more concerned with photography/videography of the bar cart near the pool than checking on patrons. Our teen enjoyed the corn hole for a few minutes. Was hoping for a better experience for a holiday weekend. We have learned that if you want a warm pool at the Resort Pass hotels in SoCal, dont book outside of July-September as they dont heat their pools.

First time using Resortpass and this hotel was perfect. Check in was smooth and very friendly staff. Shout out to Danny at the bar by the pool soooo nice and attentive. Would definitely comeback nice music playing and very clean pool area. 5 stars team Marriott. 

First time using Resortpass

We rented two cabanas by the pool. Waited an hour for pizza. And once the pool area got busy the one bar tender never left his station leaving my guests unattended to dirty plates piled up. Nice staff! But WAY understaffed for having all their cabanas rented out. 

Location was okay

Everything started off great! From being greeted by the valet attendant and warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. We received informative information about the fitness center, where we were heading first. We were even escorted to the pool area with an explanation of amenities. The surroundings were peaceful and inviting. HOWEVER, then the discrepancies started. We learned that there was no food  or drink service by the pool. Which the Resort Pass indicates that there is. So we had to go into the restaurant order our food and then return in 15-20 minutes pick up the order. We also tried to order a couple of nonalcoholic drinks that were on the menu only to find out that those drinks are not available because we dont have a bartender until 2pm, said the very unfriendly waitress. We only have beer and wine. Huh?? So we drank water and thought wed order our drinks at 2pm. Only to find out that the bar service doesnt start until 4pm!!! What?!

Great pool and the gym is nice, only downside is there is no showers apart from by the pool. Would go again for sure though and just be better prepared.

Really nice hotel 

It was our first time using a day pass. We enjoyed the fitness center, pool and hot tub. The pizza at the bar was amazing. The view from 3rd floor fitness center was great as well. Great location. 

Great Experience 

The entire staff was super nice! Parking was easy and entrance was easy. Was able to get a day bedbasically had the place to myself for a while. The atmosphere was very clean and the pool area was a great size. I didnt order any food but I definitely will be returning and ordering food. Highly recommend!

Great vibes

My wife and I recently visited Marriott Irvine Spectrum with high hopes for a relaxing day by the pool. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but serene. Upon arrival, we were met with the chaos of a large kids pool party. Apparently a softball kids league staying at the hotel the whole weekend? The noise level was overwhelming, with children yelling, splashing, and throwing footballs back and forth. It was nearly impossible for my wife and me to hear each other talk over the craziness.

Despite our attempts to find a quieter spot, the entire pool area was dominated by the unruly party. We had hoped for a peaceful day to unwind, but instead, we were subjected to constant disruptions. The staff was accommodating and listened to our concerns though. 

This visit fell far short of our expectations, and we left feeling more stressed than when we arrived.

well the restrurant/bar double charged my meal on my credi card. Now hsve to work it out with bank  and they manipulated the Tip to a little more $$.  What mess!
