Hilton Austin

Nice 8th floor pool, not too crowded, plenty of towels and easy check in. The shower facilities left some to be desired. Sauna and steam room is a nice perk

Nice pool and facilities

I wouldnt recommend to anyone at all.. the pool is very small and is over crowded. No where to sit at all. Food was nasty and couldnt even get a cup of ice water in the blazing heat. Water was kind of brown!! Would never go back not even to stay at the hotel!

Not worth it

Yesterday we rented 1 of their 2 Cabana spaces. It is a large location that could easily fit 10 people. The views from the pool area are very cool. It looks right out on that iconic glass building in Austin. They offer an ice chest with bottled water. The TV is smart so if you can't find the station, you can always download the app. The bartender, Drew, was great. He had come over from Four Seasons and the personalized service he offered was impressive!
Tips: 
1) Bring bug spray just in case for your guests. (There is nice foliage and rocks that line the area, but it most likely lead to having these little white bugs that subtly bite)
2) Check in at the front desk upon arrival just like a hotel guest. (You can get your self park vouchers there to give your guests upon arrival)
3)Walk your guests over to the bar the first time so it can be clear exactly who is in your party that you will be hosting. (There can be a lot of hotel guests and day passer and it can get confusing for staff)

Cabana for Kentucky Derby Review and Tips

I enjoyed my pool day at the Hilton, although I probably wont be back due to the lack of any shade. The pool and hot tub were very clean. I was disappointed to learn that the pool bar is only open Thurs-Sun, but it was my mistake for it reading more carefully. Although the  bar downstairs delivered me an espresso martini for a service charge, which was nice of them. The sauna was perfect, but the steam room felt way way too hot. Overall, if you dont mine having no shade, this was a nice, quiet spot to spend a weekday. 

Nice location, just short of ideal 

Really enjoyed the facilities at the Hilton! Access to the gym, steam room, sauna, outdoor pool, was awesome.  they even threw in a day too! I would definitely return 

Awesome staycation

Loved this place! The view was nice, pool was perfect temperature and a cute little bar where you can get drinks. The gym was awesome and getting a locker with showers was another bonus. I would go back!

The staff was nice, the view from the pool was pretty. We used the hot tube, steamer and sauna and was delightfully

Great Location!

We went on Labor Day - Monday and the bar was closed, there was no servers, and the pool was filthy. Totally thought it would be a different experience, since Labor Day is a big pool day. We were there for about 1hr and then left because we didnt get the resort experience.
