Great Experience

Enjoyed a relaxing Birthday and Spa Day...massage was a 10 and pool area was amazing and very clean....food service was fast and food was excellent!!

Great Location and Service

Good: valet parking is quick, easy in/out, check in at spa was quick, staff was very nice, was even walked to the pool area, plenty of spots to sit at Laguna Pool, lots of clean towels
Bad: seemed dirty to me, no service at pool, had to order food/drinks with use of QR code/or call on red phone to order, food was ok/very expensive, lots of screaming kids especially in the jacuzzi since I was there on a chilly day

Relaxing spa day 

Laguna Cliffs Marriott is one of our favorite places to stay and today we got to just for enjoy the hotel with the day pass. Most beautiful ocean front scenery, good service, good atmosphere, we can wait to go back on a resort pass! 

Love this place! 

There were some cushions that the stuffing was coming out of. Someone had a retainer that was just left on a side table, so it could be cleaner.

Also, I thought I was losing my mind when I saw kids in what I thought was an adults only pool area. I thought I must have read something wrong when booking. There were kids there almost the entire day. Around 3:30 I got a headache from three children absolutely screeching at the top of their lungs and running around the pool non-stop. Their parents and the staff did nothing. So we left earlier than intended.

If you are not going to enforce that rules, do not have them. I confirmed this rule with the very kind and apologetic lady who we returned the pool key to. She told us yes, the pool is supposed to be adults only, and apologized. If we had known we were able to, we would have talked to someone (they should probably post signs on the gates).

Also, kids running around a pool sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Has Potential But Enforce Your Own Rules

My friends and I had a great time at the Marriott Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa. The service and the staff were great.  Michael Reichman greeted us upon our arrival at the pool and went above and beyond to make our day great!  Grace was also fantastic.  She made sure we had food and drinks at all times and was always checking on us.  She was super sweet and a joy to be around!  We will definitely be back!!  Thank you for a great day!

Great resort 

This was one of the worst experiences I ever had anywhere. The hotel, which claims to be a resort and even though is a Marriott hotel, is nothing more than a glorified motel. The staff were completely rude, condescending and not accommodating as a Resort Pass guest. And for the money they charge for the day, it was a total rip off.

Worst Experience Ever, total rip off

Great Location

Great service, friendly and attentive staff.  Easy valet parking. You check in at the spa vs hotel. Our spot was reserved with a couple umbrellas and cold water bottles were provided.   Pool was perfect temperature and has steps to walk into vs jump or climb into.  Bathrooms are close and gorgeous. Food at the pool and outdoor restaurant were delish.  Middle of summer with 3 digit temps in the inland empire, this was a nice getaway for the day.  It was in the high 70s, sun came out before 2 pm. Got a good tan.  Its a bit more than I normally pay but its worth it.
