Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock

The facility did not have a hearted pool, or adults only pool like stated in the description. Nor did the facility look anything like the photo. 

Not what we expected 

I purchased a day pass in advance to visit the pool at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock. I was disappointed to find out that the pool included in the day pass was the adult only lap pool attached to the spa, not the pool pictures in the photos. I would not have purchased the day pass knowing what pool I would have access to. Additionally, I did find out that purchasing a cabana space would have provided access to the hotel non lap pool. I do not feel that there was any difference clearly identified during the purchase selections in resort pass. My party did share our concern with the spa staff, however we were not provided a desirable solution as resortpass is an independent entity. If you go through the Hilton website, it does direct you to resortpass as the option for reserving services, not an internal service.

Misleading information

The day pass is only for the lap pool next to the spa. It is NOT for the pool advertised on Resort Pass. You can only access that pool if you rent a cabana. This should be corrected in the advertising or the day pass expanded to both pools. The main pool has bar and food access but the lap pool does not.

Deceiving advertising

I booked a spa pass and while the spa was okay, I did not feel like it justified the price. The spa pass only allows access to the spa pool, not the main hotel pool. This is not the most clear on the listing. The listing also says to check in at the hotel front desk. I stood in line for 30 min to talk to a hotel concierge only to be told I needed to check in at the spa, not the hotel front desk. While the spa pool was okay, there were a ton of dead bugs in the pool, the pool is a LAP POOL so you can really only have 5 people in the pool at a time unless you shared a lap lane with someone else. The amenities in the locker room were okay. The sauna was not turned on and cold when I arrived at noon, the steam room was good, and the jacuzzi was good. No food was available for purchase, not even a snack. The only water fountain I found to refill my water bottle was in the locker room and the water was hot? Overall okay but I will probably not return.

Okay Experience 

Wanted a nice pool to relax,

Unfortunately I'd say we were left with more to desire from this location. The hotel and spa seems outdated, whereas the spa and its amenities look to be original. Came to Sedona for a day trip to relax and left within about an hour of arriving at the hotel due to lackluster amenities.

Lackluster Resort & Spa

Apparently, I was the first guest to book this pass online- they are new to the ResortPass. Great location, on the golf course, next to the rocks of Sedona. Overall, a pleasant experience, nice staff, great sauna. They definitely need updates- the water fountain in the women's locker room doesn't work, no comfy seats in the locker area to take after your sauna, the water in the hot tub inside womens area looks murky, no body lotion in the shower area,  generally no frills feel. I don't think the $50 charge is justified. 
I would return, however, because this location is one of the very few locations that has a sauna among the amenities. Also, this is a high traffic time, and this location is away from uptown Sedona with all that traffic.
