La Valencia Hotel

Great location! Beautiful view! Great service!

First time at this hotel. I was pleased with the service staff by the pool. They were very attentive. Food was great, plenty of drinks, fresh towels and clean pool/pool area. I went on a Tuesday so it wasnt very busy, but this hotel is also very family-friendly so there were a few kids splashing around. I can see how it would get busier during a holiday season or something. Overall would recommend! View was also great. Only downside is that the pool chairs were a bit dirty/dusty so I used a couple of towels to lay out. Great amenities for a day pass. 

Great Experience!

Had a wonderful time relaxing at the pool. It is not heated, but a nice place to hang out.

Great vibes 

Horrible experience.   Was so looking forward to it.  Buyer beware.   Read the details.   Fruit plate, water, travel bag.   All provided if you spend $200 in food and beverage.   Valet rips you off.   Old.  Small.   Staff not friendly.  Look down on you because ur not a real guest.    So over the La Jolla stuck up.  

Save your money  stay away

We had a really relaxing day at the pool. The view is incredible and the pool area was quiet, even though it was pretty full. The chairs are oversized and really comfortable. The food and drinks were also very good. Would def go again! 

Beautiful pool day!

The scenery was beautiful. There were umbrellas and plush lounge chairs. Pool side water and cocktail cabana. Great food pool side with sofas and chairs to dine, arrive was just mediocre. There is a shower in the bathroom with cleansing products. There is an easy walk down to the ocean and stairs to get down to the beach. I prefer a quieter experience like the pool at Rancho Bernardo Inn. 

Great location, small pool

Took my son for a wonderful day here. We had a lovely day together. Beautiful pool area and great food. 

Perfection 

This is the third or fourth time I have done a resort pass at La Valencia.  It's the perfect spot with a beautiful pool, impeccable service and the best lounge chairs ever.  I will be back!

Favorite spot!

Not a good idea if you're looking for peace & serenity. Never stood a chance with little brats shouting and running. Personnel was great though. Tina.
