Great place to recover from a red eye flight. They provided a robe. Locker rooms had clean showers and toiletries. Room servic available poolside.

Great time

I arrived at around 9:30am. The lobby bellperson was very friendly and directed me to the elevator. I arrived on the 2nd floor and no one was at the reception area of the spa so I was not able to get in because it was tap access only. I stood outside the glass doors waiting for 15mins only for a non-employee to let me in. I walked around the facility aimlessly looking for an employee and no one was around. I ended up sitting by the pool and went to the sauna for a little bit. I wanted to stay for a few hours but because of this experience I only stayed for 1hr. There was no guidance or direction made available. I was also not checked in by anyone for my day pass so this showed me that anyone could have just walked in. Upon my departure I saw two hostess in the womens locker and then another woman at the front desk, an hour later after my arrival. No one said a word to me. Not even hello. This is not how I expected to spend my mothers day

Mothers Day Reservation Gone Wrong (Email Sent!)

This was exactly what I needed. The setting is upscale, the attendant was sweet, everything was spotless and there were dozens of small amenities. The steam room made me feel papered and ,I found  the toiletries very high quality. For some reason that was the best shave lotion Ive ever used. I loved that the customer care people were constantly organizing the locker room. The robe was one of my favorite things. I cant wait to bring my sister. The one thing that I found a bit less, was the cool pool water temperature. Advertising as a heated pool might be literally accurate but it is not warm on a winter day.I was nice and I swam anyway. Even though the view from the huge windows was great. Thank you and see you again!

The pool was cold, and the spa is a bit small . Not quite the experience we were expecting.

Location is nice

My husband and I spent the day at the Intercontinental. We had a great time.  Upon arrival, the desk girl showed us around the locker rooms, gym, and pool. She gave us robes and slippers and let us know where the pool towels are located. The steam room was a great temperature. The locker rooms had a variety of single use items in case you forgot anything at home such as tooth brushes and paste, combs, hair elastics, razors, make-up wipes, etc. The pool area was great. It was a busy day at the pool, but there were plenty of pool chairs!

I think the price was very reasonable ($65) and we got what we paid for... The heated pool was not heated. There is no hot tub or sauna. There were swimming lessons for kids taking place on the Sunday that we went so it was hardly relaxing. The relaxation room needs a bit of an update, it looked very "hobby lobby". I am glad that we didn't get messages because I would have been disappointed in the "spa" amenities if we had indeed paid more. It was basically an elevated YMCA.

I will say that the showers, robes, lotions and steam room were nice! If we had used the gym it would have been great too!! We just weren't there for that. 

Not quite the spa experience we were hoping for

I wish the pool was outdoor I didnt really enjoy the pass. Just the spa which was good I prefer the day pass that you get to enjoy outside pool and food.

Didn't really enjoy day pass

Spending a day at Intercontinental during the holidays in December was great. The gym area is well equipped with a lot of natural light and big windows. The heated indoor pool was big and there were enough sunbeds. The steam room worked fine and the shower area was comfortable. The locker area is a bit tight and we had to ask for slippers and robes at the front desk as there were not provided inside the lockers. Overall, a nice experience.
