So fun!!!

The experience was lovely, and if I ever come back to Austin, would consider staying here. The pool and lazy river were clean, the service was very attentive, food was amazing, and surprised they had a hot tub area too.

The food is outstanding at Shellars!

This was so much fun! We had 2 toddlers and 4 adults and the pool was so fun and we’ll definitely go back. 

Def recommend for families

Only one pool is heated, all others you can expect to enter at your own risk--very cold, this includes the lazy river and the adult pool. Service by attendants assigned to various pool areas are great. Thanks, April! 
 
However, did not really appreciate the onsite security guard on duty walking over to our family to question whether our sons were actually 18, after we'd been there with no issue for at least 6 to 7 hours prior with no issue. Once I confirmed their age, she persisted. What?? The day was over...and she sounded accusatory. Unappreciated. 

We were not offered any towels, but other guests had them, so not sure if that was just not offered to our family specifically? Surely, an oversight. Also, we asked if we could use other amenities like the bicycles and were told yes, but weren't told that at the Services Desk, so still unclear. We didn't attempt it. 

Great Getaway 

The food is delicious and the service excellent!!! We had a terrific time…. Relaxing yet fun atmosphere!

Great venue 

Check in was a breeze. Serene spot secured by the adult pool and a lovely day ensued. Grounds were beautiful and the water was refreshing. April took care of my food and beverage orders with fast and friendly service! Loved my relaxing day!

Had a great day

This is a great pool usually. I’ve stayed at Lost Pines several times before overnight and the pool is great but it was literally freezing when it was 90 degrees outside. The description notes that the pool is heated but it was not. Pool temps were probably in the 60’s so bought resort passes for the pool and only went in the lazy river once then the luke warm hot tub for 5 minutes to defrost. My daughters lips were blue.

It was clean, great people, felt like it was worth the price.
