We landed super early, were 3 time zones different, and were not meeting our group until evening. This was the perfect spot to land!

Perfect place for nap, workout and midday shower

The staff were super helpful and always checking in on guests. It’s a cozy space but nice and chill with a great view. 

Great View & Friendly Staff

I book a day pass for Hotel Zena and had a great experience.  My pass included the use of a hotel room, which was perfect for my daycation.

Nice Rooftop Pool

We booked a cabana for my friend's bachelorette which was $800 for a large center cabana that fits 10 people (no food or drinks except water bottles included). It was supposed to include dedicated service and $25 valet. The people who work there are great but we had to go searching for our server all the time and ended up just ordering at the bar ourselves. Valet was also not $25, it ended up being $32 and when I showed the front desk reception what the details say on the reservation, he just told me that they work through a contractor and that he thinks the extra $7 is from DC tax... that would be over 25% tax which doesn't make any sense... The rooftop is also nice but the pool is small. We had a good time but would never pay that price again for what you actually get.

Not worth the cost...

Awesome day. So beautifully appointed. Gorgeous view of the city. Food could have been better. Poolside menu was very limited.

The Hotel Zena is a great place to take the day. Not only are the staff welcoming and amazing but the artwork is super inspiring (GIRL POWER!) The rooms are great for a nap after the pool and they have a fridge to keep your drinks cold. The pool itself was cool and not crowded. The crowd there was chill and fun. We had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone!

Very nice clean sexy hotel - the staycation was great! Room was great - the pool and cabana was wonderful. My only comment is there should be better food options for guest. Otherwise guest have to bring food or order Uber. Not so bad but if there was a better dining option I would have given this hotel 4.5 stars! 

Almost 5 stars!

My husband and I spent the day here for our anniversary to relax by the pool and have close access to restaurants and the Kennedy Center for a show later that evening. It was simply beautiful. The view from the rooftop was awesome. I recommend going on a weekday because the pool wasn't crowded at all during our stay.  There were lounge chairs available when we arrived midday. For those that don't like too much sun, bring an umbrella to sit under. They do not have umbrellas and the sun can get really intense up on that roof. Overall, we loved it and would definitely return.
