I had an awesome experience. It was on a Monday so I pretty much had the amenities to myself so I got to relax. I loved the sauna, steam room , lap pool and outside terrace. I was able to enjoy and read a book. The staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommend

It was a nice experience for a daycation. Very easy to navigate. Only gave 4 stars because my mom is disabled and stairs were the only option to get to the indoor pool and that was quite inconvenient. Other than that, great experience. 

Nice Daycation!!!

No wow factor just ok. Steam room is extremely small, fits only 2 people. Sauna was a little bigger but took quite some to get hot.
Dressing area where the couple of lockers are truly can only accommodate 2 maybe 3 ladies at one time. After having stayed another property in San Antonio utilizing the spa access with a Resort Pass, this one was very disappointing.

As for the pool, its entirely indoors which is great if you prefer to sun or of course would be a good benefit if it's a rainy day. There is a small terrace right outside the pool area with a nice view. However there are no drink or food options readily available. You would have to go all the way downstairs to one of the restaurants. 

All in all, it was nice just to get away and relax with my daughter. However, next time we will pick a different hotel. By the way, while in the fitness center, you can see the Marriotts rooftop facilities, talk about resort envy. 

Note, the spa receptionist Jackie was very nice. 

Limited amenities 

The parking garage was easy enough to get to since there wasn't a lot of heavy activity around the convention center or Minute Maid when we arrived. Parking ended up being free with validation from the spa, which was nice :) The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: checking in at the main desk just to have to check in again at the spa was a little repetitive. It was also semi-annoying to have one key to share with everyone in our party (3). Keys are needed to access everything, so it would be nice if each guest got their own key instead of having to pass it around. The gym was okay, and the locker room just had 2 showers. I could see how that might potentially cause a wait for others. The staff also let us know we had access to the spa lounge; that might have been nice to experience alone (there didn't seem to be a point going in there with a friend or two since the vibe is zen and slightly discouraging of socializing. No outdoor pool, but we knew that going into the reservation.

Clean and Calm

I went for a day pass to the resort and I felt I was a Public community pool, it was crowded and loud! 

Not impressed 

All areas where extremely clean, robes, slippers, the showers where spacious, the hot tub was relaxing, the relaxation room was enjoyable.

Great stay

It was nice to spend an afternoon at the Hilton. I appreciate having access to a locker, changing room, two saunas, and a pool with jacuzzi. The lobby has a pappasitos  and Starbucks as well. And, I appreciate having validated parking.  Had a great time!
