The friend I am staying with while in town for business has an apartment that is being renovated so I needed to find a nearby gym fitness center I could utilize. I paid around $40 to use the gym. No locker rooms. Nowhere to put your stuff. Two treadmills and one peleton. A couple free weights and a yoga mat that was pretty dirty. The staff was friendly. I cant comment on the pool I didnt swim. I just wanted a decent gym and maybe a spa area to shower and get dressed since the place Im staying is temporarily not providing those amenities. It was night the right place to choose since the gym was pretty shabby and there is no locker room to change or anything. It might be a good place to just come swim but be aware there is no place to change into a swimsuit or anything.

The hotel is great but resort pass is horrible, I got Covid which you cannot plan for and they didnt even have the kindness to say sorry I hope you feel better they just said, we wont change your booking, give you a credit or refund you. Have a good one. Worst customer service especially when I have spent money with them for years and have made SO MANY referrals. Will not be going back, and will not be referring anyone ever again. Id rather overpay through someone else than be treated like another dollar by a company. Keep in mind its also impossible to cancel if you book the day before because you have to cancel 24 hours prior to your reservation, so I couldnt have cancelled within their window even if I wanted to.

I always enjoy my pool days at Montrose. Clean, plenty of chairs, and spectacular views. Easy parking on the nearby streets whenever needed.

Great As Always!

Lounge chairs and beds are not as fancy as advertised, pics are actually very misleading. Pool is TINY. Maybe 6 people will fit in it. No bar and no music playing. However, if you want unobstructed sun and a quiet place to hang out, this is your spot.

View is Really Nice! Includes view of downtown LA. No bar at pool for the fall and winter, no music was playing. Chairs face pool with sun at back in the afternoon. The sunny side of pool is blocked by a loft for disabled people. Never entered the pool, because there was no sun on it. The chairs needed to be turned to take sun, so I just sat in a swing chair the entire time for $25 lol. Drinks could be brought up from the restaurant? They started at like $19+ $5 for room service to the pool. There was no water up there, but I didnt feel like calling room service for water. No bathrooms at the pool either lol.. so you have to go down to the lobby to relieve your self. This alone kept me from ordering any drinks. 

View is Really Nice! No bar at pool, no music. 

I love coming to Montrose for some sun and pool time. There are plenty of chairs and chill music. Always enjoyable!
