Great Day at Melia

I enjoyed the staff, the aesthetic, the drinks, the decor, the temperature of the pool and the hot tub! I loved it all and I will definitely be back. Thank you Melia for an amazing experIrene, I cant say enough. 

So Pleasing! 

I booked a day room for this hotel because I needed to stay somewhere before my flight at night. It took me an hour to check in. They do not know how much the incidental is at this hotel, because I was charged twice for $130 in total and they couldnt refund me the money right away but the later crew did get me a complementary drink and snack due to issues and a free ride to the airport. I loved that!

First I get there at 12:45-1:00  -to be told the room not ready , so I asked wasnt check in 12:00 the response was we check in as available, waited for an hour , get to room , they have the big  screen TV plugged (wire)over the rail in my balcony so I didnt get to utilized  my balcony for quiet time while  others were enjoying the pool 

Staycation 

We purchased a family pass for myself and 3 children. The staff were very friendly. Tia was our poolside server and she was awesome. The pool is very nice. We went on a Friday so they had a blow up slide and a kids activity camp hosted by the Montessori school. Food was good- just a great spot to spend a hot summer day. 

Great location

I booked this day pass on my last day of my trip to Orlando. I stayed at another hotel for the majority of my trip but since my flight wasn't until 8pm, I wanted to go to another hotel, enjoy a pool and be able to shower before my flight. This is exactly what I got with my day pass to Melia. The room provided was a suite with balcony. There was so much space! The room was very clean and they had soft drinks and snacks available. A pleasant surprise was the quality of the towels, very soft and plush. The pool was a good size. The pool side waitress was helpful and friendly. I had a Mahi Mahi sandwich and not only was it hearty portion, it was tasty too. The only Downside was that there were, a lot of kids in the pool during my stay. This listing was not labeled family friendly, so I was hoping for a more adult experience and were surprised to see so many kids. However, I learned there was a basket ball team staying at the hotel.

Excellent resort 

Our daycation was perfect. We live in the area and wanted something different. Melia was the perfect choice, from the live entertainment to the pool DJ and the service from the hotel staff. Our day was exceptional! 

Great atmosphere! 

Asking for a credit card for incidentals when I purchased a day pass is ridiculous. This was not a day room so it didnt make sense and when I asked the front desk clerk said it was policy. 

Credit card for a day pass???
