“Booked a day pass to let our kids have a break from colder weather activities. The hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was brought to our room since it ended at 9 am but our day pass started at 9 am.

The hotel room was amazing and spacious. The pool was clean and warmer than most indoor pools this time of year and it was big enough for our kids to exhaust themselves. The snack basement was perfect post-swim.

Checkout was quick and easy. Can’t wait to use resort pass and this hotel again!”

“Staff is very friendly when signing in. Facilities aren’t too busy. The locker room and gym aren’t huge but it was just me. Great cardio selection! The locker room has private bathrooms and showers which is nice. The pool, hot tub, & sauna are spacious and top-notch! Got a delicious coffee & snack downstairs on my way out. Will be going back for sure! 10/10”

“For roughly the same cost as a ticket to the aquarium, you can relax at the rooftop pool.

The unique views of the city and the surrounding architecture are what make this a great spot. You’ll be able to take in views of the lake and see some of the finer details of what makes Chicago architecture great. The breeze is nice, the setting is well thought out. The plants and small flowers placed throughout the rooftop are pretty.

The pool itself is small and it’s hard to tell from the photo. It’s about only 3-4 feet deep and 15-20 feet in length.
The pool heated up by around 1 but was cold in the morning.

The food was good, and cocktails were expensive but given the property, it isn’t out of line with what would be expected.

The Devereaux won’t be open, but you will walk through it for the bathroom. There is a small separate bar for the pool.

My plans weren’t for later in the day so this was a nice filler to relax. They also held my bags all day while I was out and about.”

“Perfect place for a staycation. The atrium pool area offers stunning views of the hotel grounds and has plenty of seating for lounging poolside. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and much larger than what is found at most hotels. The sauna and steam rooms are conveniently located inside the locker rooms where there are plenty of lockers and separate areas for the restroom facilities shower stalls, and sinks. I opted to book a massage through the spa and Keisha was amazing! She listened to my needs and was able to target my areas of concern, I highly recommend her. There are vending machines available in the hotel for snacks and the Water’s Edge cafe is open for breakfast and lunch with simple menu options, averaging $10-$20/entre. They also had grab-and-go options, pastries, and coffee. Overall a nice place to spend the day.”

“Massive beautiful pool that was very warm and comfortable, especially relaxing for a swim in January. Very few people were there so it was not crowded at all, went after work between 5:30 and 7 and it was just gorgeous. The locker rooms also have a changing room, bathrooms, a shower, and a hairdryer for when you get out.”

“Every aspect was wonderful. The staff and facilities are stars. Check-in was quick and pleasant. Patricia was very attentive and friendly, as was the front desk spa staff. Every area is impeccable — from the changing area to the wet lounge (steam room, infrared sauna, showers) to the relaxation room. The showers are large are stocked for each guest, the relaxation room is comfortable with tea service, fruit, and large comfy chairs, and the tiled pool and whirlpool are beautiful and relaxing. Each area is constantly stocked and reset for each guest — from towels to shampoo to snacks to small amenities.”
