What an awesome hotel with the friendliest staff! Eve who took care of us was beyond amazing and made our day so relaxing!

Smooth check in process, great amenity options included. We were sad that because of the weather we didnt get the use the pool and the hot tub was broken. But the lobby areas and outside seating areas were a million times better than the airport.

This was meant to be a relaxing end to our cruise vacation before us and another family we vacationed with all caught a flight home. However, upon arriving, the staff was very disorganized and rude overall. They werent welcoming at all and gave us no direction as to were to go and what amenities were available. We love having a Day Pass at the Fairmont on the Big Island. It is a beautiful indulgence. The cabana provides shade all day. The pool is beautifully landscaped. The views are classic Hawaii. The beach is right there and getting into the water to snorkel is easy. The snorkeling is decent. It is nice to be provided with some snacks as well as pool side service. People are civilized.

We rented a cabana for the day and the service was excellent! Great drinks on the menu and 4 restaurants to eat at. I thought the $75 person charge was a bit much just to use the pool but that was the only downfall.

The hotel looks so chic. The beach is right in the backyard of the property, the pool was amazing ! My son loved it. We stayed here after our Disney cruise and ate lunch by the pool. We showered and changed before our flight. This was well worth it when traveling with a toddler compared to spending 5-6 hours in the airport. I provided the front desk a card for accidentals. They charged me for the day, fees, and other charges. I have spoken with Delta twice to discuss the bill and inform them again, that the room was prepaid. They have yet to return those charges. This has been very annoying. We had a nice time but the time I am spending to get a refund for something that was paid has been truly a loss of time. So please beware with the hotels, it seems that they try to double charge guests.

The hotel was very nice, but unfortunately the day that I had booked, they had a private event and some of the pools were blocked off, which left the other pool is very crowded and poolside service very slow
