Premium Pool Cabana

We had a lovely little afternoon here. The beverages offered by the bar are so lovely- lots of non alcoholic healthy options along with cocktails. Pool is very cold- too cold for us even on a hot day and there’s some room for improvement with pool cleanliness- TONS of bugs in the water- but we were only wading our feet so we still enjoyed lounging. Wish this place would heat their pool and break out the nets to sift the bugs off the surface but even if it was exactly the same, we might return because it was peaceful and relaxing overall.

Day Pass

The whole experience was a bit odd, but it worked. The information on the website stated that you could bring in your own food and drink, and while no one really bothered us about it, there were signs all over the place saying “ no outside alcohol allowed. ” They also stated that there would be a cooler with ice available to us in the cabana, which we did have to ask for and the staff seemed very confused. The pool is not heated, and quite disgusting… needs a refresh for sure. The pictures make it look much better than it actually is. This place was much cheaper than others, but you certainly get what you pay for. Overall, the staff was pretty friendly, but by no means attentive.

Day Pass

We checked in and were told by the receptionist that the pool was heated. We got in and it was FREEZING. We later found out from both the pool cleaner and another guest (who’d been there several times before) that the pool is normally heated, but the heating system was broken at the moment. We were not informed of this and were told the pool was heated. There was also what appeared to be algae growing at the bottom of the pool. We were also not given towels upon checking in and had to go out of our way to ask for them. As for the hot tub - the temperature was fine at first, but we used it again later and it seemed as if someone had turned up the temperature drastically between our first dip and our second dip. At this point, staff had already left for the day so there was no one to inform about this. It was way too hot to enjoy the hot tub the second time around. Lastly, only one of the jets in the hot tub was working.

I had a great time with my friends, but I feel like the whole place is due for a renovation. The pool and the bathrooms could use a good cleanup. The staff was very nice overall. I went on a Tues and apparently their cafe isn’t open on Tuesdays. It would’ve been nice if that was on their website or if they told us when we checked in. They do allow you to bring food in if you want, which is a plus.

Premium Pool Cabana

We loved our day at the Surrey Resort. The staff is so super nice and the cabana was clean. The pool chairs are super comfortable too, my friend took an almost hour nap in one.

Day Pass

It'd have been 5 stars, but a party brought their full DJ setup and as they got merrier the music got louder and heavier. By 2 pm it was full-on party mode. Totally ignoring everybody else around. Have they kept loungy and mellow it'd have been perfect. Surrey management didn't say a beep the entire time. We left earlier than we had planned. It wasn't the relaxing time we were looking for after all. Other than that, it's a great value for your buck.
