Day Pass

Hotel pool had a great view of the ocean but food was low quality and not worth the money. Service was okay, they forgot our order and we had to flag them down multiple times. You have to pay 300+ for a cabana with an umbrella. The other chairs don’t have an umbrella but you can request one. There was a shallow wading pool that was perfect for our toddler

Daybed

Honestly I’m disappointed. I have always loved Pasea in the past. But this experience was not great. I paid $350 for a daybed. At that price every day bed should have a dedicated umbrella. Instead, we sat in the direct sun for most of the afternoon because there were no options for shade. Staff was not very attentive, I think I saw our waitress come by twice in about four hours. I ordered chips and guacamole, which took 45 minutes to arrive. You are charging premium prices at this hotel but you’re not giving premium service. I don’t think it’s worth the price.

Spa Pass

Wonderful day at the spa, the place is clean and calm and the staff was really nice. Sauna and Hammam were pretty small (3 people max), but it wasn’t a problem. The patio is amazing and the cabanas a perfect place to relax. Will definitely come back!

Daybed

The daybed was nice and spacious and the service was friendly. Too many kids at the pool though. Maybe because it was Labor Day. Overall i was a nice outdoor people across from the beach.

Day Pass

Love doing a day pass here. Service is attentive, the pool is beautiful and you can’t beat the ocean view. It’s also nice to be near Pacific City for Philz coffee in the morning or dinner after a long pool day.

Cabana

We paid for a day pass AND a cabana, and unfortunately, the experience was nowhere near worth what we paid. I’ll start with the positives: the cabana was nice, the view was great, and the pool itself was fine. That’s about where the positives ended. The service was incredibly slow. It was difficult to get anyone to come over, take an order, or check on us. Meanwhile, the exit door near our cabana apparently became the unofficial FREE entrance for the day. We watched person after person sneak in through it and join the cabana next to us. There were so many extra people coming through that door, yet no one seemed concerned or made any attempt to stop it. Honestly, it was pretty frustrating sitting there knowing how much money we had paid while watching other people walk right in for free. Maybe that also explains why the service was so overwhelmed and difficult to get. Apparently, we could have saved ourselves a lot of money and just snuck in through the exit like everyone else. Unfortunately for us, we’re honest and actually paid for what we used. If you’re going to charge guests a premium price for a day pass and cabana, then there should be enough staff to provide decent service AND someone monitoring access to the property. Paying customers shouldn’t be the ones receiving poor service while people who didn’t pay are allowed to come and go freely. Great view, nice cabana, but overall a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the amount of money we spent.
