Cabana

We love Hotel Ella and stay here frequently, so unfortunately our recent ResortPass pool day was a major disappointment. The ResortPass experience was advertised as including a designated pool server and discounted garage parking. We received neither. There were also supposed to be pool towels available, but there were none. Essentially, there were no towels and no pool service during our visit. We also paid the hotel’s premium parking rate, while watching multiple people park directly in front of the hotel and walk in without any apparent check-in or verification. They were able to enter the pool area without being questioned, which made it especially frustrating to have paid for parking and a ResortPass experience that did not include the amenities that were promised. We genuinely love Hotel Ella and have had great experiences there in the past, which is why this was so disappointing. I hope the hotel and ResortPass address the disconnect between what is advertised and what guests actually receive.

Day Pass

Service was terrible. Checked in and front desk was super friendly. Let me know where the bar was and that a waiter would come outside with food/drink menu. I waited outside for about 30 mins and no one ever came. So I went inside to the bar waited another 10 and that bartender told me the pool bartender would actually need to come out and service us. So went back outside and waited some more. I waited over an hour and no one ever came out to anyone at the pool. I ended up just leaving as there appeared to be 0 service.

Day Pass

Horrible experience. No one ever waited on us or brought us a menu. We went inside to try and order and we were told to go back to pool and that someone would come out there to help us. We waited another hour. No one ever came. Worst experience EVER! Never going back

Cabana

Cabana was clean and comfortable! Fans were helpful in heat! Service was very friendly and attentive. Pool was not clear and clean. It was very cloudy with small chlorine tabs on the bottom that we kept stepping on.

Day Room

Had a wonderful “staycation” day at Hotel Ella - worked perfectly with the day room to sit by the pool for a while and then take our toddler into the room for a nap. The room we were assigned was at ground level right by the pool so it was perfect with a little one! Staff was so amazing and friendly - from the valet to the front desk, restaurant and pool staff, we were well taken care of. Breakfast was simple and tasty and drinks by the pool were great. Waiter at pool was amazingly attentive. The vibe was relaxed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We will hopefully be back!

Day Pass

Pool was lovely. Burger was delicious. The service was lacking big time. We both decided that we probably won’t be back because of how bad it was- too many other options. When Max came on shift- he was a breath of fresh air & great.
