Day Pass

I booked this daycation for my friend's birthday and we were pleased. The pool is clean and deep, fresh and refreshing. There wasn't pool service that day so we went to the bar to order beverages and avocado toast, which was delicious. Thank you for a great day in the pool.

The people who work there are very nice and helpful. The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. You started relaxing the moment you walked into the pool courtyard.

Day Pass

The pool at Camp Lucy was amazing! So relaxing and peaceful with very attentive staff and clean facilities. There was plenty of seating and I pretty much had the place to myself on a Monday. I was there all day long and will definitely be going back!

Day Pass

Beautiful property. Pool was clean, great temperature and quiet. Poolside service was minimal and the pool bar was closed and there is one restaurant server occasionally taking orders from pool guests.

Day Pass

My best friend and I booked this day pass to celebrate our birthdays and chose it because of the access to the restaurant Tillie's, where we had dined before and had a great experience. The pool was lovely, and the music was perfect. The convenience of the swim up bar was great, but the food options were lacking. The pool bar waiter seemed bored to be there and wasn't helpful in suggesting alternatives to their "we're out of that", and "we haven't had that on the menu in a long time", since I had to read the menu from the website because there were none available poolside. Earlier we had eaten brunch at the restaurant and again dealt with slim options on teas and menu items. This property advertises as a spa destination. Overall, I think this day pass is too expensive for what is offered. The best part was being in the pool and that can be done at any of the other resort pass properties, many for much less.

Day Pass

We usually love our pool days at Camp Lucy, which was why we took my mother in law there for her birthday last weekend, but it was a disappointing experience overall. The pool was so overbooked. We arrive just 15 minutes after opening, and all the chairs were already taken. I guessed there was a girls retreat or something happening at the resort, but what usually is a serene place felt very overcrowded and noisy. People were reserving lounge chairs for their friends who had yet shown up, so we had to use the cafe table and chairs instead. Even that wasn’t enough for the number of people that showed up, so some folks had to sit on the ground or the garden bed. Maybe not sell the pool pass if you have an event organized? We raved about this place on the 45-min drive from Austin, and it was embarrassing to not even have one lounge chair for my mother in law to relax in even though we booked in advance. The water was cool but filmy. There were wasps flying about. Dead insects and debris in the water. One server working the whole pool (the lady at the food pickup window - we were surprised she couldn’t take orders, just occasionally delivering food. She just stood there while the poor guy running around taking orders, making drinks, and dealing with checks. ). The whole time we were there, that one server checked on us once, but no other staff were seen. They also changed the menu to just serving pizzas and some cold snacks now. Very limited menu, no fries or pretzels, etc to munch on. We saw other guests coming out of the restaurant with containers, so maybe you can order from there, but when we asked, they told us no, so we weren’t sure how it works. The Vietnamese pizza was very delicious though. The bathroom could be mopped dry more often because it gets slippery quickly. Our previous visits were mostly 4-5 stars, but this time we were really let down and won’t come back for a while, especially after Camp Lucy raised their pool pass prices while lowering their standards.

Day Pass

Relaxing pool space. I appreciated the comfortable sun loungers, fresh towels, access to cold drinking water and a bathroom within the pool area. I visited mid-week so the bar / food service was ordered from inside the restaurant attached to the pool area.

Day Pass

This is my third time at Camp Lucy on a girls trip with my best friend. Once we stayed there, which was wonderful, and this was the second day pass we have done. It’s a nice pool and a beautiful setting. There aren’t a ton of chairs, and it can get pretty busy. But umbrellas are plentiful, in case you’d like some shade. And it’s comfortable, the pool is nice, and the pool bar serves drinks and food out there, both of which are good! We will definitely go back!
