Virgin Hotels New Orleans

We loved the space and access to the TV. We did not the pitchers. They were not good drinks. I would have done better to buy individual drinks.

Birthday Celebration 

I really like the Virgin hotel but its the more expensive pool in the city (if you're not a guest) and they don't have much to offer. The vibes are cool and they always have a great DJ but the pool is on the smaller side and the seating is very limited. 

Good Experience But Expensive

Drinks and food was great. Just the pool is a lot smaller than the pictures. The day bed is actually chairs with umbrella. However it was cool. You must spend a certain amount is the only thing you need to remember

Great Time

We stayed here for a night before a cruise and they were the friendliest, most helpful staff, so we decided to purchase a pool pass they day we traveled back home between flights.  They ordered our cab service, were helpful with our bags, and offered assistance always with a smile.

My party came from out of town to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday at your establishment. Daeshawn was amazing and accommodating. The concept needs a bit of work. If guests are reserving the space for drinks, why not have the pool bar kitchen open until at least 10:00pm for food. Yes, we were able to order from the commons restaurant, but the menu was limited, and the chef was not willing to make the changes we requested to our orders.

Lastly, but most importantly. We were splitting the bill evenly four ways. The bar manager took it upon herself, after swiping three cards, to attempt to charge my debit card the full amount multiple times. So much so that my bank flagged the charges as fraudulent and I was left without access to funds the remainder of my stay. My card was swiped four times totaling $1800, I have incurred nsf fees amounting to over $600.

I was told when I called to reserve the pool space that cash would be accepted, only to arrive and be told the opposite.   

Good Until the End 

The views from the rooftop are fantastic!  The pool is small, like 20 people in it and its full!  There was no sunscreen available as stated. All that to say, a pool is necessary if you're in NOLA and want to be outside.

The pool is much smaller than whats pictured and its very packed. We got the VIP packet and had to hit a minimum of $250 for food and beverages and it includes a 24% gratuity. When we got the bill, the numbers did not make sense but they rushed as when they saw us discussing so we paid. When we got home, we realized they added a 42% tip and charged us for an extra hotdog. We called the hotel and the manager was stuttering he could not  even explain how these numbers make sense because they did not. We were over charged $150. Its a scam and we do not recommend going her. We spoke a lot of locals who said that this is not the first time they have heard this and for that reason they do not recommend going here.
