Truly a 4.75 rating.
I chose this Cabana location based on the description, which was more than what my wife would expect for a surprise. All she wanted was a brunch and chill day. That's exactly what she got and loved it. We got a to-go order from Fleeting and enjoyed it in our cozy cabana. We enjoyed the sun, pool, view, and a finishing drink on the deck of Bar Julian. We would return!
Now, for the "would've been nice to know" part...
I was under the impression we could receive pool service from Fleeting, Bar Julian, or Stevedore Bakery anytime so long as each facility was open. Not the case. Pool service doesn't start until later (around noon) and your options, while more than efficient, was not available for Fleeting, Bar Julian, nor Stevedore. Luckily, it is just a flight down the stairs to Fleeting for our to-go order.

Great vibe 

I hosted my friends 31st birthday at the Thompson, the pool + Bar staff were amazing! The DJ has the best mix going on, we had such  a rad time! We will definitely be coming back!

Had a blast my wife loved it for her birthday! The DJ kept the vibes going and everyone was having a great time! She was awesome! She made the pool experience awesome!

The pool, the place, the people + the music, food & drink! All added up to fabulous time! So worth it to get away for a day and feel like it was so much more than that.

Service was great and pool is nice but they have no umbrellas and no shadow so it becomes extremely hot. And pool is not the cleanest and has a weird smell.

We had a lovely day at the pool. The food, drinks, DJ and vibe were great! This pool deck desperately needs more shade. Umbrellas should be a must have.
