A daycation at The Seabird is the perfect beach getaway.

The location is really nice with views of the ocean.  The food and drinks were also good.  I highly recommend that you read the descriptions of the products/options carefully to avoid surprise charges at the hotel. We booked a Half Moon Beach Cabana since there were only two of us, not realizing this cabana is on the (free) public beach across from the hotel.  We were directed to the pool area by the front desk who looked up our reservation and we sat at a cabana by the pool for 3 hours before a staff member came over to let us know we were in the wrong location.  We paid a fee to avoid having to move locations but I would not have booked the cabana if I had known it was on the beach. Overall it is a nice location but I think the description and photos are misleading for someone expecting to hangout by a pool for a day.  If you click on the 'pool' button for the products, the Half Moon Beach Cabana is an option which I find confusing.  My advice is to read the details.

Love this facility. Such a beautiful hotel and an amazing location with a beautiful view of the beach and pier. Food at the pool was subpar. 

Great View

Kid-friendly pool with (very mildly heated) hot tub that the kids loved splashing around in for hours.  Great ocean views.  Cabanas just face the pool so wouldn't recommend if you want to see the ocean. Didn't see any day beds which means the photo on this site needs updating.  The food/drink service was very slow.

Family-friendly but not ideal 

We love the seabird. Kyle specifically is the greatest bartender we have ever had. He is personable and always makes one hell of a cocktail. 

Seabird 

The Seabird Resort is a great place for this local to hang out with my visiting company. It's so incredibly welcoming! The resort staff are a notch above in friendliness and efficiency. The pool area was sparkling clean, there is entertainment areas, cabanas (not too many!), there was not rowdy behavior by a bunch of loud, obnoxious types. It has a family type setting. Lots of kids enjoying the pool. The views are just amazing. It was a sunny day, we sat by the glass to block any wind and it was the best experience. Ordering food was as easy as following the prompts of a QR code on my phone. If you're looking for poolside service, I'm not sure if it exists in the "off season". Still, an overall excellent experience. 

Incredible Views!

We had friends in town, visiting from a cold climate.  The ResortPass was perfect for a day of fun in the sun!  

Amazing!

Great location, fun staff, did not feel like "second class" resort pass people. However, we thought the spa was included - at least for a shower - and there was really nowhere other than pool bathrooms to change

Great location

Our latest resort pass experience was a total disappointment. A very nice resort by the sea but the pool and the pool area were very dirty. The water was murky and univiting, with derbis floating on the surface. It wss clear that the pool had not been cleaned for an extended period and the filters were not working. The lounge chairs and floor were equally grimy and unkempt. It was far from what we had envisioned after an hour and a half drive. When you are paying a premium price for pass, that's not what you should get. 

Dirty and neglected pool area, a disappointment!

Had a fantastic time at this location! Food and drinks were great, friendly service, panoramic ocean views! What could be better?
