The Scottsdale Plaza Resort

We did the day pass on a Thursday. It was quite crowded and when we arrived around noon, there were no lounge chairs available, although all the cabanas were empty with their reserved chairs. The pass is only good for the main pool, so we couldn’t access any others. Also the fitness center seemed closed (keys would not open it and it was dark and empty) and it is quite far on the edge of the sprawling resort. There was also a wedding starting in the courtyard by the tennis courts and conferences going on, so we just ended up leaving. Otherwise, the grounds were neat, and the pool seemed warm with food options and restrooms. Just too busy and not at all relaxing, and honestly not quite worth $30. There are other moderately priced day passes I’ve done that were way more enjoyable, and the hotel is really just a glorified conference center, nothing really remarkable about the pool or ambiance.

What a great day in the sun. Nice resort, clean amenities. Food and drinks were excellent and reasonable priced. Would definitely go back.
